TJ nearly turned pro at the NAs last year. The only man to beat him was Marcus. TJ was close too. Congrats to him. This guy could have turned pro in either division. Hopefully in the PDI, TJ can keep his great shape and not be forced to put on another 25lbs which may ruin the great physique he has.
Congrats TJ!!!
Thanks,
My reasons for going to PDI are...
1- I am 38 years old and have a beautiful wife and son and we are adopting a child from Asia soon. I want to close that chapter(bodybuilding) in my life and move on to other things. Like spending time with my family.
2- We were going to wait til the 2008 Master Nationals to compete for the IFBB pro card as competing in a pro show was my goal and after that I would be done. So when Wayne, myself and my wife talked we decided this would be the perfect way for me to go. I get to compete with Lee, Vince, Vinny, Jack and other very good bodybuilders in a Pro setting, and my son gets his dad back and my wife gets her husband back that much sooner. So for us it was a win-win.
3- After seeing what happened to Mike Ergas at the nationals I realized that being the best in the show does not mean that you will win, and if I am putting my life on hold, beating the hell out of my body I and others expect to judged fairly.
I am hoping to come in around the same weight as I did at the N.A's last year yet alittle tighter. I have gained 44#'s of contest weight in 2 seasons and I do not want to let my gut get out of control. My goal at the show is to be the best I can be and the placing will take care of its self. I just really want to enjoy the whole experience of the NOC and the Europe tour. I have had a lot of fun the last 3 years in this sport and have made a lot of friends and am looking forward to this last year.
Thanks to all
