MUSCLEMAYHEM used to be good, until they banned everyone with an opinion, and most jumped shipped here.

bodybuilding.com annihilates everyone else in terms of sheer traffic and users. it's big enough that it's amongst the most popular web forums on the internet. which is the best depends on your opinion. i think of bb.com as the informative one, mayhem as the calm one which is kind of ironic, and getbig as the amusement park.

yeah but you have to take into consideration all the other shit that bb.com has that draws people, i'm sure their store accounts for over half of their traffic, in terms of just board popularity i'm sure getbig is more popular.

well today bb.com's teen bodybuilding section has 1,161,854 posts logged compared to g&o's 142416, but i don't know how far back each goes. their supplement section has 1.6 million and the misc section has almost three. getbig has 583 guests on right now and 171 members, bb.com has 591 members and 1466 guests. over 300,000 total members to getbig's just uner 14,000.

even if the traffic noted is counting their store, the forums are still far and away more popular than any other in the bodybuilding or even weightlifting scene. i'm almost certain they have the biggest athletic-based board on the internet. of course i don't have an account there, i just read, so that should tell you which i enjoy participating in more.

No Getbig is not - is is a small niche in a small community. Never proclaim to be the biggest, but always try to have some fun here. It does have its unique settings though, as do others.

to be fair, bbd's videos are all over the place. it's hard to find a video of a contest or a preview for a pro video that wasn't made over there. even if the forum itself isn't doing so well, rob's really done some great work that's spread all over and he's only 19.

You get a few kissups here, and of course, a few pros that want lovin'.

I cannot imagine a board being more informative about the 'scene' than this one.  There was a time when Mayhem had the potential to be, but the censorship was a little heavy-handed at times (there were highs and lows of that).  I don't get to visit that often anymore, though, so maybe it's changed.  I did always feel Mayhem had the most serious bodybuilders, however, and would suspect that's probably still the case.  If you want a hardcore bodybuilding conversation, I'd give Mayhem highest marks for that. 

I don't know their site very well, but I'd bet money that the vast majority of bodybuilding.com's traffic is there to buy supplements in their online store. 

More traffic typically means a higher Alexa rating, but the formula is pretty complex.  My site used to be in the mid-80s (83,000 or so), but now I'm close to 150,000.  My internet ranking has dropped significantly, even though my daily visits have increased over the same period.

 BB.com also has Layne Norton,who is very educated about the scientific aspects of bodybuilding.

funny thing is typos that I've entered on my site have shown up on theirs.  but they're not alone.
