Gear, Remedies and Keeping my Hair ?
« on: June 06, 2006, 03:07:05 PM »
Never ventured very deep into the "gear" locker, as fear of losing my hair was even stronger than my desire for strength/muscle.

A few cycles with D-bol (back in the day),  but for the most part an "occasional" anavar cycle once in a blue moon. (always phenominal strength gains/cuts from just this, due to I guess well rested "receptors", and I had trained "cleanly" based on "powerlifting" principles)

Also had a 5 yr run with "propecia" that was ended due to sexual "side effects" (if you can live w/almost a non-existant sex-drive, which actually saved me $$/time..you guys know what I mean, CHASING POON...., the stuff definitely works)

Now after two year layoff, getting ready to start back, (finishing "rehab" at VA Hospital), I'm "super" eager to whip out my wrist straps, walkman (IPOD now I guess), and training poundage "journals" (I must be honest, that recent edition FLEX cover shot of "Dorian" in black/white, just f.....g  "blew me away", my kind of gym, my kind of training and my kind of sweet, sweet sacrafice.)

IAnyway, 've read/been told "primobolan" is even "tamer" (really safe for yr hair) than "anavar", if that can be,,,and possibly more "potent"....??

Additionally, I found some "clinical studies" on-line that stated "Saw Palmetto Extract-Sterol" accomplished the same results as "Propecia" WITHOUT THE SIDE-EFFECTS, "natuarlly".  The only reason you don't hear about it is, the major pharmaceutical companies can't put a patent on a "plant", and hence make "exploitive" profits off it.

Any/all feedback would be appreciated, as I've found this "forum" my "salvation" within the walls of my "ward'.  thanks.

looseing you hair only happens if it runs in your family, or if you are balding already or if you have been useing for a long time.

D-bol was a terrible idea if you are worried about hairloss.

Try a cycle of 500mg of test with 1mg of finesteride a day.  Even if you are prone to hairloss, you should not shed very much.  If you are truely worried about it...make your first test cycle a prop cycle.  If you shed (which i doubt will happen), just stop the test.

Why are you in rehab? Is it an injury or drug/alcohol related? Either way before you consider gear again wait until you're 100% back.

How long would you run the cycle, 8-10 weeks?  I just started my first cycle a week ago, Sustanon 300mg wk, after training for over 20 years.  I have been using proscar, 2.5 mg daily, with Nizoral and lots of other stuff to keep my hairline.  Baldness does run in my family but I have been able to halt it for 20 years with my regime.  I am in a quandary as I want more size but don't want to jeopardize what my hairline.  I know there is a chance anytime you use gear but I just want  to minimize my chances.  Some will say just shave your  head or don't bother with the gear but it would be great to have both size and hair.

I believe that an 8-10 week cycle is best.  I would have choose to run Prop instead of sustanon, because if you start shedding like crazy....and want to stop....prop will be out of your system pretty quickly.  Regardless, proscar and Nizoral are great to use, give it a shot.....let us know how is effects your hairline.

At 46 Ive got just a little bit of balding up top, and I'm no stranger to  6cc of Sus wk + some enanthate.
Add in free access to over the counter pink anabols, anapolon etc.
Its genetic. Look @ Dorian. Still has hair. How much Test you think Yates used per wk? Or was he natural ::)

I assume the people asking these questions are genetically prone to hairloss....

I'd bet hurt or stress overload... I cant believe the scene these days when I take my brother to VA hospital. Man, they got to stop the madness. I seen enough young guys there hurt.

JTR06-  Glad your away from the Docs @ VA. I do think they give pretty good care though from what I've seen.

I eat some saw Palmento, dont know if its done much to keep hair.
I like Primo tabs, even as little as 5mg 3-5 x day on top of 100Testprop  eod.
Basically a small base of  inj Prop, stanoz, or primo; with some var, primo,or stanoz tabs.  All the shots are the drawlback. But ought to minimize hairloss and water retention. These big doses of var-primo-stanoz are prolly
possible to lose hair on also. Anyone here Positively lose hair from them? They didn't test that stuff at the doses some guys run today.  I dont care for deca much. How about Tren? Does it hit the scalp? Ive never used it.

The hairloss thing is confusing.  No one in my family on either side up to my grandfathers has it.  But my hair receded on the right side when I was 18.  I just comb my hair forward and you cant tell, but still.  What would you guys recommend for people who run test + deca?  Since finasteride doesnt work for deca

I would stick with topicals, Nizoral shampoo, Minoxidil, emu-oil and I would google Dr. Proctor, Texas.  He has some great topical products, which I have been using since 1985.  I have been able to halt my hair loss after it started and have pretty much keep everything with a little recession on the sides.  However, I am 45, so I guess I should expect a little recession/loss.
