Where's Capriese?

I read in the new Flex (Dave Henry on cover) that Capriese Murray has retired from competition.
What gives?
The man is a freak!
Anybody privy or am I just behind the times?

Actually, I do care. No one seems (if they know, they won't say) to know why his column is MIA from MD..............

I asked him a while back:

"My contract with MD is up, I have other things going on, but I have been getting a lot of people asking me about my column. I've been telling people to email MD and tell them they miss my column"

He replied in less than a day - very friendly too. I'm still upset he retired - I thought he was a cool freaky dude . . .

His contract was up? He only put out a few columns? Seems like a cool dude. Oh well, thanks for the update.

His contract with MD ended abruptly because he didn't do the Olympia, and he was tired of having to lose some income in preparing for shows.  He also indicated that he accomplished all of his bodybuilding goals.  Time to move on..

I liked him he had a weird but freaky look.......... I completely understand why he wouldn't want to continue to compete, bbing somtimes just isn't worth it unless your gonna go all out (with drugs and diet) and risk your health.

I wonder when "The blonde myth" will lose his contract with MD.  I think he has some potential, but doesn't seem to ever be on.

I don't have to check myself asshole/jackass/shithead/whatever (remember you went there), as I have known Capriese for a number of years & he has always had quads.  If you know him well (as in being a fellow competitor), he doesn't have a problem with telling you what he supplements with.  Now your last comment pertaining to spot injections---it's far from exact, but now your getting the idea.
