How many guys here adhere to a strict training philosophy? I don't because IMO the human body adapts to stressors placed upon it. If you train like clockwork and stick to the same training style you will stagnate. AS far as training styles mine is switch it up constantly, but always commit yourself 100% mentally. The great Shawn Ray once said "sometimes I don't even know what I'm going to train on a given day inthe gym" and he managed to do okay. I think most trainers adhere to a strict protocol as a kind of crutch, "If I do XYZ every week I'll get big" which is patently false. The real secret to developing a great physique(like mine) is learning your bodies kineseology and biomechanics. Learn what works for your own body, invent your own exercises. Bodybuilding is a purely individual pursuit. One size does not fit all. Don't be a pod, use your brain
