OMG PALUMBOISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hear lawsuits coming bitchslap on each of you
If Kamali had hair like this it would probably take attention away from his gut!
Those days are long gone ? Look at this picture of him off-season.
He got mixed up, he thought to pull off the Victory pose you need to have tiny arms and a huge waist. Then someone showed him a pic of Sergio and he saw that you actually need huge arms and a tiny waist. Hopefully he won't make this mistake again.
Why is it that everyone cries "Palumboism" whenever a bodybuilder starts growing a big waist? It's called AGING. That's what happens to people when they get older. After a certain age, your waistline starts to grow and your arms and legs shrink in size. "Palumboism" has nothing to do with it.The average pro bodybuilder is much older than the pros of yesteryear. Bodybuilders like Lee Haney and Samir Bannout knew when to stop competing. I recently saw photos of Samir in his later years, and he exhibited many of the classic symptoms of Palumboism (thick waist, smaller arms, etc). Lou Ferrigno also developed a thick waist. The problem is that guys like King Kamali and Dave Palumbo are still competing well past their prime years. Drugs have jack shit to do with it.
Yeah aging makes you look like your 9 months pregnant too!
Those guys weigh like 285 each. Do you have any idea how much food they have to eat just to maintain their weight? Several large meals a day, every day for years will give you some distention. All truly massive bodybuilders have it. The only exception I can think of is Victor Richards, though he's a genetic freak that is the exception that proves the rule.
Kamali has trained more like a powerlifter and he is sort of like a mini one. Built like one, and also very strong as far as bodybuilders go.If he starts training like a bodybuilder he should hopefully be able to replicate his 2001 form. But maybe those days are long gone. I'm not sure.
