horrible posing in both.  Why do people spend years training then only 1 minute learning to pose?

Don't put your hands in front of your chest.  Look at how the top pros do it and just emulate them.  Take Haney for example: Everything is visible and yet he makes it look effortless.

Probably the bottom one, but it's hard to say; if the angle were different in the top shot then that pose might be fantastic.  Try that one again but facing the camera
