When I think of stingers, I think of something small and pointed. the stinger missile, for instance, can be carried on one's shoulder.
I hope this doesn't mean that the journey into old age is accompanied by significant shrinkage . . . 
I don't think the term "stinger" has anything to do w/size...it's just what he calls it.
He said the nurses would look under the covers trying look at his "stinger."
According to an aquaintance, apparently when he was feeling amorous, he would say his "stinger" was getting mad.
And according to her, sometimes it was furious.
