Did she know the firing was coming? Did she have to leave immediately and clean out her desk? What else happened!!!!!!!
Well, I haven't been around that long, but it took about two seconds to see what this person was all about. I don't think she had any idea at all, but then again, what made her stupid enough to think that people didn't see through her maneuvering and games, also made her blind to the rest. On top of it, she left paper trails of rude e-mails etc... I think the last bit was a presentation she gave that was so hollow and dumb, that even the prez looked disgusted. I was sending notes back and forth with the person sitting next to me saying things like "Could that chick possibly BE more full of sh*t?"
What was done was, they hauled her down to the HR floor, and there was a counselor present who met with her immediately afterward to start the "look to the future" thing. During that time our little gang of 4 malcontents was called into another meeting room where we were told... and asked if we had any comments, how we felt, etc... no one said anything, everyone had on the serious "oh gee, someone got fired face" while inside, all of us were going HAHAHAHAHAHA. They let her go back to her office to get her immediate things, purse and stuff, but I think they asked her to come back another day to get the rest of her personal things. I believe firings are done more humanely these days at corpies...
