1st read that sentence to fast and thought you said wet the bed..lol 2nd, I drop off like a rock when my head hits the pillow but sometimes suffer from insomnia.

it will often take me 30 minutes or more to fall asleep.  I generally wake up at least twice a night and usually always at 4 am.  then i have to prop the pillows up and fall asleep sitting up

Sleep disturbances usually occur as you get older... the elderly rarely sleep more than 5 hours a night.  :)
