I have had it up to hear with all the anti gun talk, its really not the time or place. How come after some drunk driver with a suspended license causes a major accident that kills a family of 6 you don't hear a outcry for more car laws. 90% of the highways in the USA are 55 or below but they build cars that can drive 100+ as well as motorcycles. More people are killed each year in drunk or aggressive driving then from guns but oh no guns are the issue. Take time to feel for the victims and understand what we could have done to find or fix or arrest this guy before he went nuts, not just blame his tool of choice. It could have been a bomb like Mcvie used.
I totally agree. There are more deaths in 2 weeks then what happened at VT because of drunk drivers, aggressive drivers and just people who disregard the lives of others when they get behind the wheel. THey should only make cars go up to 90 miles per hour max in the US, and if you want a car that goes faster and want to race all the time then it should be restricted to tracks and raceways. That way if they crash, it's just on them and no one else is involved. As for drunk drivers, I think that if they drove drunk it's intentional or else they would have had a designated driver or some other means to get home. Get caught once, lose your liscense for a year. Twice and you can't have a liscense for 5 years. Because the system is so lax regarding drunk drivers, it's no wonder that drunk driving fatalities are so high.
