He played in the movie about A Schwarzenegger, the role of Colombo.

The scar is from a skin graft he had when he snapped his forearm in High school. Hope this helps

One thing about not getting your due (many have not gone pro when they deserved it)--it gives you a chance to come back bigger & better.  I remember when Dennis James went pro in a very controversial decision at the NPC USA in '98.  He proved his haters wrong, & so will Mike.

If i'm not mistaken he is gay, if thats the case that might have something to do with it (not turning pro). Don't forget what happend to Bob Paris AFTER he became a pro!

That has nothing to due with him not turning pro.  Bob Paris placed 6th at the ASC after he came out.  Plus, do you honestly think that there are not more pro BBer's that are gay?  Who gives a fuck if he's gay.  Hell, most pros do gay stuff to make ends meet and they are still placing in pro events.  As long as Mike comes in his usual condition, he will get his pro card this year.  To turn pro in the NPC, you have to pay your dues.

Of course there are alot of gay bodybuilders and I for one could care less....but how many actually come out and admit it? Thats what happend with Bob, after he came out the Weiders more or less started screwing him over because he did come out and became an advocate for gays. Now he'll have nothing to with the industry!

Everybody blames the Weiders!!!  Joe and Ben did not screw Bob.  He only came in shape TWICE, IMO.  At the 89 ASC and the 1991 Olympia.  Bob never went to the extremes some guys did back then.  His contest placings were determined by his condition.  Everybody wants to blame "the powers that be" for their poor placings when its their condition, or lack of condition that causes them to place low.  Joe Weider can't "fix" the Olympia.  If he could, don't you think Lou would have won in 1992 and 1993 and Gunter and Cutler would be placing 1st and 2nd at the O for the next 5 years.  There is no conspiracy people.  Sure, you are going to get a few guys overlooked, but that has been happening from day one.  When you have 15-20 guys, all with different shapes, somebody is going to get passed over.  There were at least 7 guys in the HW class at the USA last year that COULD have placed in the top 15, but they didn't.  It is what it is

Read Bob Paris's book GORILLA SUIT.  It makes clear that Bob self-destructed as a BB, & nearly did so as a person.  He's lucky he survived, like a lot of people who started out with nothing & then got too famous too fast.  He still gets regularly cited as having one of the best aesthetic builds of all time, so his career was not for naught.
