CQ . . . this is not entirely true . . . what would happen to your country if Americans stopped spending their money there and decided to move on to some other island paradise?  What would happen to the US if your country stopped buying our products, etc?

Umm...tourism is not our main source of income so it would not crush us. It is about 30% of our overall income. We deal in international banking/reinsurance etc. Also, our tourism stems from all over the world not just American...Canadian, European and I have no idea why but we have a ton of Japanese tourists which is strange as we are so far away. Therefore if all American tourists stop coming here...we would be looking at approximately a 10/15% drop in overall income which would hardly crush us ...especially since our economy is very strong to begin with.

I am not trying to criticize....just refute the assumption that all other nations are 'shitholes'. Mine sure as hell is not, as the same way Americans get pissed when people disrespect their nation...I do not appreciate it either.

I am not saying my island is self sufficient. As the 3rd smallest country in the world...we can't be. It's impossible, but we do not 'run to the US for help' as was stated. Help with what? I think we can handle running our massive 20 odd sq ft country :D

No offence meant to you or your country AlGebra btw....

I appreciate your post CQ.  yeah.. I went a little over the top on that ;D I guess I just get so tired of it cause I hear it ALL THE TIME.  My bad!

No problem btw. I do not blame you for being pissed. I think it is quite rude to insult someones country.

One world, one love ;D

Just 99.9% And if you are a European the United States protected your ass with OUR troops in Europe from 1945 to 1990 because the western Europeans couldn't muster the will to do it.

Umm, I am not European.

My nation...hehe......is pretty secure unless there is a worldwide shortage of coconuts and bananas and we get invaded for them ;)

CQ, I do not take any offense at any of your posts . . . I'm a big fan.

But, if your country's income is derived mainly from banking and reinsurance, then y'all are even more dependent on the US than I thought.  It's just a fact of life, the US economy is slightly larger than that of the entire European Union.  The closest single country is China, whose purchasing power is about 2/3rds of what ours is.  But I suspect that Americans have more need for offshore banks and reinsurance.  People forget about how dependent they are on our well-being . . . so y'all should all wish us well.  The flip side is true too . . . we need markets and producers for our Wal-Marts, and oil-fields for our Exxons, and everything for our GEs and GMs.

Yes, I disagree. any fair-minded person knows that NFL running backs (and safeties, and linebackers), sprinters, and some Olympic weightlifters have the best quads in sports.

dont talk about internet as it's being a good thing, im sure most of you would be twice as big without it consuming all your time and energy. no way arnold would've been olympia if internet was around in his time.

I am a bit of a moron, have no idea what a "GE" and "GM" is, and not too well versed on the whole business scene so I will take your word for it ;D

I totally recognize that we are dependent on other nations. I mean at 20 sq miles we are pretty much totally dependent on the outside world for everything unless we plan to live on seafood and fruit forever :-X

But we enjoy a very high standard of living, low crime, free healthcare all that crap...Our miniscule size makes us so different from the US, but we are just different, not inferior. Also, I do wish the US nation well...At the risk of sounding wildly gay I wish the whole world well :D

You couldn't nuke us into the ground. We don't spend a half trillion dollars on defense for no reason. You would be destroyed if you tried to attack us. The United States will eventually build a weapon capable of destroying the entire world in seconds! >:(

These legs are only tangentially "in football". But I won't tell the moderator if you don't.

Just better training methods.....not just weights anymore.

Shut up Fats; you don't know an iota about REAL training; look at your pathetically puny arms: no veins or development to speak of, just sickly-looking adipose. So this is the result of 2 decades worth of hardcore weight training huh? ::) Just sad really...
