Lee, I also think Bush is an idiot and that the USA should not have gone into Iraq.

However, in the last line of your post, if you "hate to see americans living in poverty, homeless and no health care" why don't you try and do something else besides "paying taxes".

I personally hate it when people just complain (even though it is your right) and when people ask them why they don't get off their asses and do something about it (i.e. lobby your governor/senator, start up an action group, hell even run for office or at the bare minimum VOTE) they just say, well "I pay my taxes".

After what happened to the Dixie chicks, can you blame them? We live in a polarized country and if you count on the general public to make a living, it is not a good idea to make your political beliefs public, unless you can afford it. I will admit that Lees got some balls for speaking out, though.

For the opinion he has most of you guys would e-rape Lee if he wouldn't happen to be a Pro Bodybuilder and somebody a lot of people (inluding myself) look up to.
But since he is a very cool guy and an outstanding Bodybuilder everybody agrees with him.

Hey i go help homeless shelters,i go and serve meals at different places .i have gone and brought gift cards at local grocery stores and given them to the manager and asked him when somebody comes in with food stamps give them this If i am buying my groceries and i see the person bend me look hard done by i tell the clerk to run theirs with mine.They always seem shocked like what are you doing but i just say random acts of kindness go along way.
.I have been at restaurants i try and do it twice a weeks see a family and pay for their meal making sure they don't know i did it.I gave away 500 last week to people at the traffic lights holding signs.Are they all down on their luck i hope so and are not lying.Adela always wonders why i give it away but hey i have a place to sleep food on my table and Bil's are paid(well most are) i don't do it to get recognition or anything mot people don't even know what i do but i always try and help when i can to ever it it.

Hey i'm in Afghanistan right now and i read what Lee said..No big deal..most of what he paid in taxes went to my salary anyway so no big deal. Look guys in Iraq are very high strung..the guy went bonkers..he has every right.Dispariging a vet is Bullshit. kinda like like over competsating for being an "f" ing coward and not having the balls to do what he's done there Some of the comments towards him have been harsh. The Aussies are over here with us kicking ass. Aussie SOF is killing bad guys all over the place here so they're doing their part.
