Interesting topic. Lee is free to voice his opinion, and the soldier is free to give him his. The Dixie Chicks can make a political statement while on tour, and their fans can make one back by skipping their concerts or buying their CD's.

Freedom cuts both ways. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. I think Lee can handle the heat.

BTW Lee, while I don't agree with some of your views, I admire what you have attained in your bodybuilding career and your willingness to express your opinion, regardless of the reaction!

I agree with Lee on this issue. Hell I voted for Bush, I still think he is better than Kerry would have been.
   However, I am fed up with all the wasted lives and $$$ overseas. When the events of September the 11th 2001 happened I was all for droping bombs and scorching various sectors of the world. However, we(USA) will never change the mindset of the middle east. They will always hate the western world, they will always be robbing stealing and killing each other. They have been doing so for thousands of years.
   It would be like sending navy seals into the sea to insure that sharks never prey upon small fish or seals ever again.
I wish the money spent over there would be spent on re-resourcing energy. For everything. I wish they would start stem cell researching. I wish they would make higher education more affordable for EVERYONE.
   I agree for once, lets take care of our own first. Every other country does.......why shouldn't we?
Stop blowing shit up in another country and build up our defenses instead. Keep a well placed secret agency(CIA) so we know if someone or group intends harm. Knowledge is more powerful than brut force.
   The week we leave Iraq is the week that country is filled up with crazy fucks from Iran or Russia. We should have never gone over there, now for our safety I fear we have to have some force in that area at all times for damage control, more fucking waste.

The war in Iraq is closer to what 240 has outlined than most of you would like to believe. Take a look at weapons of mass deception and look at how the media can generate a view of an entire nation. We get a very distorted view of how things really are around the world.

One great point of womd was how reporters were embedded in platoons in which they would spend every second with the troops they were stationed with.The were told by the military they would have never before seen access to the action. This forms a bond between the reporter and the troops and they begin to sympathize with the men. They become one of them. Want to protect them make statements like " I would never do or SAY anything to harm them". This skews what they report. This was a tactic thought up by the government. They report on a biased level without even knowing it. Fox news is about as un biased as a southern juror in the 60's. President Bush problem is he is much to secretive. His administration has given the least amount of press conferences out of every president by far! Do you know the networks have a station in Iraq with only the best explosions. They can cut from the stations when making casts about bombs and grab some good explosions. Ever since the political view unbiased reporting caused on Viatnam the US government has puppet ed the media to make sure that never happens again. You think people against the war now imagine if the reporting was spot on with the horror and gore.

If you have not seen weapons of mass deception rent it and check it out. It will change your views. It changed mine.

I do however support the troops. Bush is no idiot. he may not be well spoken or good looking but he is no fool. Some act like an entire cabinet does not make decisions.

nope. I've seen a few of the 911 movies, just on google video. I'll look for that one. It's just fascinating to watch those. it just unravels everything you believe lol... and the fact that we'll never relaly konw the truth makes it that much more interesting. it's only slightly less confusing than say, the judging at the masters Pro.

I just would like to know how all those cell phone calls were made in 2001 from flight 93 at 35,000 to 40,000 feet. Impossible... I know there was an airphone call but most of the calls were cellphone calls and that wasn't possible in 2001. If one part of the events on 911 shows people actively conspiring during the event, it's all suspicious. Following 911 many studies with multiple attempts from the same type of plane to make cell phone calls at altitude ALL failed. Nobody was able to connect. The cell phones would just try to connect to one of the plane's systems and be denied and then search but fail and go into sleep mode.

On the other hand I can so understand that kid as well....
I have seen some very very very light combat in my time in the german army nothing I would say comes close to anything these guys see on a daily basis....but, even than when I came back home I couldn't believe how people could attack us for beeing at that place and doing what we did.
I thought of them as extremly egoistic that they judged me without knowing what excactly I did over there.

These Guys are in combat, they are under a lot of pressure and of course propaganda, it all looks a little different when you see people die and bullets fly.
I'm fully ok with bashing these War horny fucks in the Government...ANY GOVERNMENT....because they are ALL lying cocksuckers, i'm not ok with bashing young guys and girls who "have" to go over to fight a war some guys have started.
Let's not make the same mistake america did when the veterans came back from Vietnam, all boys and girls from the warzone coming back need help.

I do disagree. Sure Lee is popular but even Lee has been hammered at getbig. At one point he wasn't going to post here anymore. The fact is what this guy sent to Lee was absurd. I sure in the hell didn't chime in because I felt like kissing Lee's ass and I do like him. That he's Lee didn't have an effect on my thinking and I doubt it did for others either. That's just stupid, especially with Getbig's members, it's not happening.
