OUCH! Only one of the two creators of Superman (Shuster) was Canadian, and yes, the British forces (Canada did not really exist in any real form until 1867) did 'win' the war of 1812, even burning the White House in retaliation for Fort York. As for the basketball, James Naismith was born in Canada but I think he organized the first 'basketball' game in Massachusetts, so that is a bit of a toss-up nationally.

i watched something on A&E about superman , the two were kids from Cleveland OH, two jewish kids the artist and author....

They made the curse to be just about George Reeves and Christopher Reeves..werent there more parts to it ?

I don't know, they asked Dean Cain and Brandon Routh about it. There may be one accident other than the Reeves deaths, Lee would know. I do think I am missing something.

While the movie snob in me agrees with you, let's take this with a big grain of salt: Chris Reeve couldn't act his way out of a paper bag -ie. he wasn't just wooden, he was freakin' forests and forests of lumber on screen.  ;D
