I know getbig is popular and all that, but also I'm aware that all the moderators are busy maintaining this Board, since the site is free, how do these MODS get paid. just curious
Great question. Being a mod at Getbig, especially on some boards, requires full time status. Minimum requirements is 8 hours a day of your time, in various shifts throughout the day, the ability to get flamed, yelled out, called names, and at least a high school education. For certain boards, we require a college education, and other boards, experience is needed.
For instance, on the Sex Board, in order to be a mod, you must prove that you have had sex, and actually enjoy having sex. You either had to have made a porn movie, or wrote about your experiences with vibrators, or just been having sex for at least 15+ years.
For instance, on the Gossip & Opinions board, you need to like bodybuilding and the industry, and really want to see the sport to grow, and actually go to events and support them, and other causes. And really know what is going on in the industry before you just open your mouth claiming this and that without any proof.
For the X board, you just have to be insane.
As for getting paid, just the idea of being a mod here at Getbig should provide you with lots of satisfaction and excitement. What - they should pay me to be a mod here! Lets get real now! I accept all gift certificates for Chinese Restaurants featuring Orange Chicken specialities.
