Comparing Ron's legs to Cutler...please  .  Ron's legs dwarf Gutler's.  There is only one bodypart of Cutler that beats Big Ron; his calves (and quite possibly the jaw).  Nevertheless, Ronnie will never win best wheels as it encompasses thighs, hams and calves.  He may have the best thighs and hams, but his calves aren't even on the radar.  I think it will go to Branch as he is more proportionate.  However, if his legs really are 8 inches, his waist is a legit 42 inches.  To have a taper with a 40 plus inch waist must mean his chest is easily greater than 60 inches.

He is 238lbs, and Ronnies legs are 38" pumped, your tellin me that u don't think ronnies legs can't be like 7" bigger then your average NPC superheavy weight competitor with legs around the 31-32'' mark? I mean seriously bro he even makes jay's legs look smaller.. That is not easy to do. I have 27'' legs i can easliy see how ronnies legs are just 10'' bigger.

Not a flame on the 230 lb dude. What I meant to say comparing him to youre averege gym lifter is going to make him far huger than standing him next to a 230 lb pro. Still huge tho!

And as for Ronnie having better legs than Cutler. Never!!! Most definatly bigger but cutler has better detail and calves. Those recent pics of cuts show a monster sweep. Coupled with his deep cuts and awsome detail he wins hand down.

Cutler compared to Ron...that is a laugh Body88.  Turn them to the side, Jay has no hams.  They suck.  Dex kills him from the side.  Now, Tom Prince in his prime had awesome hams and legs.  Branch has awesome legs.  Jay has nice cut thighs but they pale in size and shape to Ronnies and from the side and back they are non-existent.  Most definitely a gift for best legs last year as they were throwing him a bone for getting swept by the big man.  Ron will win as long as he wants it and doesn't get injured.  I thought the left arm looked as big as the right arm.  No flexed shot, but I suspect it is not overly atrophied as all of Jay's supporters hope.

One of his weaknesses that should've been addressed beginning 4-5 years ago was allowing the legs to stay that big-I don't think he's done everything he could do address balance issues.

Could've instead focused on quad refinement & detail and bring up the calves, making for a better look. Size was already there. No excuse; I'm surprised no one told him or that he didn't listen.

ronnie is not lacking size anywhere. but it is true that his legs are too big and his ass is way too big. he wins the olympia because he gets into condition. actually very very good condition with his mass in great conditioning he can't lose to the competition he has now. i dont think he should train the way he does still. why train so heavy heavy? he'll just keep building his ass and it'll be hard to keep down the gut. he's like 5'10 or 5'11". someone like Gunter i would say is safe to get bigger. i hear he's coming in at 285 this year. forget it he can't win then. he needs to come in at 300. i think gunter should train year round. this year he took a few months off. he said he would in his probodybuilding weekly interview. he's the kinda guy who needs to get incredibly big since he has the height for it and then come down to 300. i mean if he's the same weight as ronnie and ronnie's 3 inches shorter how's he gonna beat him? gunter doesn't have such an aesthetic physique anyway.

Except that he's right about the balance issues, which are not bad but could be better with more refinement. Knowing that and doing something about it's one of the signs of wanting to be great, IMO. Not that his butt's so big but Coleman could've spent the last 4-5 years refining the legs and bringing them down a notch in size to better balance them with the upper body. They still look good but could have better quality, be in better balance and be accompanied by better calves. He didn't address this as well as he could've.

Thats bodybuilding, we all have our different views, as the judges do, and competitors do of what is the ideal, what is "the right look"...No one is right or wrong, its just boils down to what look is preffered...to a point that is...and most significantly to judges.
