Tom was 278, and Ronnie wasn't "calling him out" he was astonished that he could be that big at 5'9, and was busting his balls....

That being said, Tom was natural for that show, and was fighting some serious health problems...278 wasn't a badge of honor, it was a big waving red flag...his body was starting to hold so much water from the kidney failure, that he could have been in real trouble within hours...the contest prep was actually having a reverse effect.

He wisely bailed out, as we were literally pumping up in the back and ready to get in line. His breathing was getting shallower by the minute, he made the right move and got himself to the hospital for treatment.

To all the guys who think it's funny or cool to rip on Tom for his problems...Tom doesn't go on the boards anymore (hasn't for some time)...he's running a successful Property Management business, so quit wasting your time...he ain't reading it.

More importantly, I hope none of you take it as lightly when someone close to you is lying there in the hospital bed with tubes and wires running everywhere, and a doctor telling you it's "touch and go" as their wife is looking to you for some sort of re-assurance...I don't care if it's their fault, or by the grace of God.

Life is short, my friends...I just lost 2 friends within a 2 week period...one of them as close to me as my own brother. Lets all be grateful were alive and in good health to even be on these boards...not revel in someone else's misfortunes.

Tom *started* at 24 weeks out with gear...it became apparent immediately that this was a bad idea, and he HAD to go off...completely, for the duration of the prep...

What Tom chose to share with the masses, might just be different than the truth...i.e.- don't believe everything you read.

So which is it Chick? Was Tom natural, as you say in the first post (pulled from another thread on Tom Prince)?

Or was he using gear for the show, no matter how long?

Is "Tom *started* at 24 weeks out with gear" and not continuing the use qualifying for being natural these days?

Seems to me, that if you answer the the latter, it's like being "kind of pregnant."

Tom himself admitted he was not natural. He said he was initially using 600 mg of test and 400 mg of Deca a week, but had to drop the test down to 400 mg per week because his body couldnt handle it.

If anyone knows about Don Long's condition, then even you would find it hard to believe that he would be stepping onstage again.  Also as I stated before, announcing it is one thing, getting on-stage is another and I won't believe it until I see him onstage.  The IFBB can block him from competing still because they may not wish to see someone die on-stage which is a big possibility. 


The only moron is Don for getting back on-stage and not listening to his doctors, his family, and his friends.  There isn't anything for him to prove and his life to lose.  Not worth it

That last time he lost an argument, he came back with the BS racist claims the next day, and called me every name in the book.   Then, once proven wrong, acted like it never happened.   I would like to think that it won't happen this time, but ya never know. 

And this was nothing more than him sticking his foot in his own mouth in an attempt to make me look stupid.    It happens.  Now should some BS claims about me pop up in the future, he knows I'll have to bring up what i heard about a poor girl who got smacked up by a guy we know.... I remember this. Chick thought he tasted blood and the invective he used was brutal. When proven wrong (or 'not proven') he still was belligerent, let alone apologize for such an accusation. That's when I lost the little, if I had any at that point, respect for the Chickster. I even suggested to Rob that, despite being the 'injured' party he take the higher ground and see if he could offer Chick an olive branch. I feel kinda stupid for suggesting that now.
