True.  The topic of Chick's IQ has derailed the topic of Don Long's health and taken the heat of Don.

Admittedly though, when I see Bob at the Arnold Expo next year I probably won't say any of these things to his face, so why would I say them hiding behind a computer screen?  It's not very tactful and it's what gives message boards a bad name.

That said, my main point is that Bob is fighting a losing battle against 240 here who is obviously more intelligent.  Say what you will about Rob, he has an MBA and obviously a lot of brains.  Bob may not be stupid, but it is stupid for him to keep trying to win fights against somebody as intelligent as Rob who has owned him more than once at this point.

240 may know alot of shit but you certainly wouldn't call him a wise man . 240 meltsdown on a regular basis so he clearly does not learn from his mistakes . 240 has another strange habit . That's the one where he apologise for all his name calling and negative threads and then claims he  has turned over a new leaf because he is married or about to be a dad etc . His apologise are meaningless because he always resorts to type .

Recently 240 even tried to explain why he had to lie about dying to make Matt believe he had nothing to lose by killing him .

Now that is not the behaviour of a wise man or an intelligent man .

Wow. Way to disregard the whole thread and focus on a sidebar. This is what I critiqued you for before: Ignoring those issues where you caught 'were dead-to-rights.'  Hey being wrong happens to everybody, the difference is that those people we admire most are the ones that can say 'Oops, you're right; I made a mistake.' You are not here on GB as a 'favour' to us, so stop with the attitude that we owe you respect - it has to be earned. We are all here because share an interest in bb (an area with spotty support at best); I assume you do too. If you drop the pretenses, I guarantee you you might find more similarities than differences with us, and maybe even gain some respect (albeit grudging  ) from the 'peanut gallery'.

Chick's speaking the truth - Don Long won't compete. There's no way the IFBB will let him when he's that ill. They wouldn't let Dennis Newman step on stage until he was healthy again after his bout with Leukemia.

I'm not sure whether it's right to stop him, but the IFBB is obviously doing it to keep him safe. You can respect that.

You have to wonder what Chic's peers think when they read this stuff.  You know, the writers, competitors, promoters, supplement companies... those with dignity, self-respect, and respect from their peers.

Everyone expects getbiggers to be pricks and crack jokes, to own and be owned, to play the fool now and then.  But for the athlete's rep to not only resort to person insults and lies- but to then continually be outwitted for it- is just sad.

Anyway, didn't there used to be a term limit for Athletes Rep?  Shawn had his stint, and Bob has set up camp.  Why not get a Milos or a Labrada or a Haney in there to bring some dignity back to the position.
