I have major issues w a lot of it, b/c it very transparently reflects then extant power structures.

However, the words of Christ, are very subversive to power structures both then and now . . . in these I put more credence . . . although even these have been mediated by man (and in most cases, men)

I believe the Bible to be the infallable word of God.  Written by man, yes.  But inspired by the Holy Spirit.
