If there was proof that even one of the 357 million different Hindu gods were real, yes, that would give me pause and make me reconsider my beliefs.  But it would have to be real proof and acceptable in general, as demons and the devil can present something as real or even something totally evil as an "angel of light."

this part of your post made me think about how a lot of the signs and wonders in the Old testament are presented as a competition among the gods that Yahweh wins.  Elijah and the fire, Moses and the rod, etc

Zack, do you consider yourself a Christian?

I've looked into many religions.

None of the religions have been stood out as more valid than the others.

Have I tried to feel the presence of a Divine God? Of course. Didn't happen.

So I welcome any hard evidence that supports the existance of a God, be it Christianity or Judaism, Hinduism, Wicca, Satanism or whatever.

I won't have a problem admitting the existance of a God or Gods, if there is proof thereof. I would be a fool otherwise.

Where?

In Williamstown, Kentucky.

If you build it, they will come:

Are you building an actual Ark?

Yes, we are constructing a full-scale, all-wood ark based on the dimensions provided in the Bible (Genesis 6), using the long cubit, and in accordance with sound established nautical engineering practices of the era. It should become the largest timber-frame structure in the USA.

Well Zack, I think you'd have to give me an example.  For instance, Jehova's Witnesses and Mormons believe in some of the bible.  And I think Islam has some historical parallels as well.  So those (although fact IMO) wouldn't cause me to turn my back on Christianity.

Being a former JW and raised my whole life as one I can tell you they believe in the whole bible as a main source of spiritual enlightenment whereas the Mormons base their faith more on the Book of Mormon than the actual bible. I went to the Mormon church for over a year and rarely did they read directly to the bible it was all about B.o.M.

Hey Samoan,

If you don't mind me asking, where do currently sit in terms of faith, religion, church denominations, God, etc...?

Definitely Christian though I'm not a fan of organized religion at all.
