it seems ok when I am not on a cycle but when I am pumped like a fuckin bull and between a set and the little nerds come ask what supplements i am on it pisses me off.............

Yes the head phones help a lot. I know guys who train together and all they do is BS between sets. You can no way have good workouts this way.

I used to train with this big Russian guy, who if you started to BS between sets would tell you to STFU. Was all business, thats really the way it has to be if you are training hardcore.

So you dont sit and chat (unless its some hot gym chick and you are arranging a meeting to f*ck her), you dont watch TV, you dont talk on your phone (very gay).....you train hard and stay focused.

I hate the guys that have the bluetoothe for the cell phones and there sitting there hands free just talking away and you dont know whats going on untill you see that think in there ear.that dumbass's are benching while on the phone.I just want to slap the shit out of them....

I aggree but sometimes there on a machine next to you and why the hell do they have to be so loud.... its bad enough I have to hear guys grunting and yelling while they are lifting 135.... I look at them and Im like are you serious?

Today I asked this guy to spot me and he looked at me and said " what is that "? I said forget it and rolled my eyes and walked away LOL

In my experience, the strongest guys are usually some of the biggest talkers in a gym. It's always the skinny runts or delusional roid junkies who try to act serious all the time.

I am all business through my sets but I dont mind some conversation in between sets. I guess to each their own, usually get what you put into things that includes lifting so I dont let the real talkers bother me at all. The only thing that bothers me at my gym is this old man. He's a great old guy but he will get right up next to you to talk, I mean like within a foot which is one thing I REALLY dont like.

I dont mind if a newbie asks me questions once in awhile. When I started I was always eager for advice from a guy that looked like he knew what I was doing. I simply answer them while im resting and then excuse myself and continue my next set. Theyll get the picture not to bother you too much. Its good that they want to learn as long as its not a really dumb question. I also tell them to do a search on the iternet as well. We were all beginners at one time so I dont see the harm in helping someone.

FYI, Some kid asked me today what a set was and I almost went off (Talk about stupid questions) he had on his lifting belt(brand new) his lifting gloves with straps (brand new) and his whole outfit matched..
