who trains the hardest at your gym?
« on: July 02, 2006, 04:08:00 PM »
and how can you tell?

for most part it's those teenages with bad genetics from what i can tell
the struggle is so much harder for them, they must really go balls out to get even the minimum of gain.

the smaller the arms, the harder they train so to speak.

It's true, I'm a former skinny teen who transformed himself into a healthy looking swimmer with years of balls to the wall training.  I never tried gear but at this point in  my life I don't regret it.  I had shitty genetics would have never been a huge man beast like most of the guys on this board.

most intense, me, definitely. I take a 10 second set between sets, normally. I also wear a hooded sweatshirt even in the middle of summer to avoid people talking to me. Just me, my mp3, and the weights. The owner is ALWAYS working out, though. He's a juicehead, I wouldn't call him intense though. He does a set then talks to people makes a phone call and repeat. He probably takes 10 minutes between sets.

i dont know cause the time i train theres only about 5 or 6 people in the gym,i only do about 9 or 10 sets total,im in and out of the gym in about ahalf hour or so,i take each set to total failure then i do negatives to finish off each set,the strange thing is im training less sets and getting much larger quicker,im not complaining at all though

I think it's a very interesting question and can tell you that it's those that  are most passionate about what they do, training, working or otherwise that will go all out in the gym.  Guys that make excuses for everything usually train like heroin addicted girls scouts. I've got to add that I've seen some women in the gym that train wayyyyy harder then most guys, so let's give it up for the sexy gym warriors who train to shape up their lovely glutes.  Oh, and I didn't mean the ugly she-beasts that pump testosterone, grow a clitasaurus and demand you say they look feminine.

no, not always. People with really good genetics still want to look their best. Heart has nothing to do with physical genetics.

Some people like Sarcasm may be happy with 15% bodyfat and keep training like a piece of shit. But most people on here probably have some pride and train hard so they don't look like a fat piece of shit, like Sarcasm.

sure they do, everyone has the ability to look their best, whether they start out looking like shit or are blessed with good genetics.

or maybe they are still slowly shedding fat.... through the buildup of muscle.   not everyone starts out lifting with a skinnybody, you know.

everyone has their own reason for working out, I just don't think that people with good genetics train any easier than the people with shit genetics, generally speaking, of course.

no, because if they trained harder they would look better.....unless you mean their genetics somehow favor less training.
