Do you know how long ago Silva fought Vitor? He's never even came close to being that Wanderlei Silva since he stepped into the PRIDE ring. I doubt coming over to the US to whoop Liddell's ass is going to change anything.

Dude that was 8 years ago and Chuck didn't eat Vitor for lunch. That was a close fight, Chuck won because he scored a knockdown.

Anyhow, if you go by that logic then, Chuck got his corner to throw in the towel to save him from screaming over and over again at the hands of Rampage. Chuck got beat not to long ago and got owned in the standup by Rampage. And will all know what Silva did to Rampage twice, he basically skullfucked him twice.

Silva is going to murder Chuck, he has faced better strikers...i.e CroCop/Hunt.

Actually 3 years is quiet a while, Hunt might hit harder, but he's not as accurate as Chuck and I'm not sure Crocop is a better striker, better kicker yes.

Remind me what happened to Silva when he when went head to head with Tito?  If I recall, Silva also got his ass handed to him then too.  Of course, we know what happen to Tito last time he crossed paths with Chuck.  So...

Chuck > Tito > Silva

Chuck > Vitor > Silva

In all seriousness, it should be an awesome fight.  I'll be rooting for Liddell, only becasue I want to see an Ortiz v. Liddell rematch...for the title, next year...

Silva lost by decision. This was back in 2000. Since then he had 20+ fights, 2 losses (Hunt, Arona) and 1 draw (Crocop)

Wand is good but personally I think he has fought way too many japanse fighters that hasn't been anything special.

My limited following of all the fighters tells me that Silva has improved considerably in recent years though, no? From my understanding, I doubt he'd lose to Vitor now.

When I'm in Brazil next year I'll be sure to find out if "everyone" in Rio knows this. I've never heard that...not that I really care.
