I dont think Shadow is even reading any replies, let alone realizing that links and posting are entirely different

Yes, I think the guy is in a world of his own.

"big guy"? Franco was a shrimp. He could hide behind Lee Priest. Franco made it on Arnold's coat tails. I really think if not for Arnold, Franco would be remembered as a mediocre bodybuilder.

he had a thicker and better body than arnold.....

And more gyno...

Just kidding.  Columbu was good, though I think he excelled in mass and definition and lacked some of the symmetry and proportion of Arnold and other contemporaries of the time.

I'll argue to that, but since he was a short guy, so I'll understand. But I heard he was always stronger than Arnold

Why is it that short people tend to favor short bodybuilders?

for the same reason that tall people would admire tall bodybuilders

I think Franco was one of the only Bodybuilders to compete in the original "Worlds Strongest Man" when it was on CBS on Sat. afternoons.  He finished top 3, if my memory is right.  Tremendous wrist strength.  They had a device you twisted with a weighted rope attached.  Who ever got it to the top first won and as I recall, Franco's wrist strength was amazing.  He fell in the refrigerator race and told the spotters, He was a Dr. and knew his leg was broken, just like carrying on a normal conversation.  Amazing, but that was the day of Bill Katzmyre (sp) and He took it all.

They gave the Olympia to a guy with bad gyno and legs like sun baked sausages. ::)
