what can we lean on.....if there's nothing seems to be truth?

u want muscles? u want slim?
the answer is keep on doing exercise......

is it the only way around?

or u will just do it all?
(e.g. have "all around supplement", creatine, amino acid, glutamine....)

What's the question? Was there a question?
the question is what u should believe in

(I have to make it clear, I am not a personal trainer now)

u ask A, here comes theory A
then u ask B, .......theory B
ask C, .............. :-\ theory C

all these theory are contradictory to each other

BUT!
they all conform to the facts about nutrients, the rules for the mechanism about training inside your body.......

don't u ever feel confused here? ???

Only the dumbasses make it harder than it needs to be.

I will give you a bodybuilding lesson. The only one you will ever need.

High Protein when dieting and gaining.
Low carbs when dieting. Low fat when dieting.
Higher carbs when gaining. Higher fat when gaining.

Lift heavy when doing both.

you need to exercise to get results..... that is FACT... not a theory...  (that is to build muscle).... you also need to eat right.... that's also a FACT...not a theory....

which part is confusing?

If your diet is right on, you should not even need to do cardio.

your muscles need to warm up before you lift heavy to prevent injury.... whether you do this by doing 5 minutes of cardio or doing a few light warm-up sets is up to you.....

short version:
eat less (by creatign a caloric defecit, your body will be forced to use fat stores), stick to a diet high in protein ,low in carbs/fat, eat a small meal every few hours, time your carbs correctly, keep weight trainign intensity high....

how was ur way to prevent catabolism in your theory?

it's extremely important in the situation u mentioned

I think if u r really engaging in high intensity weight training and also having low carbs diet
it's possibly u will "melt your muscle away" by taking not enough carbs
seems it just force your body to melt your muscle away

you are preventing a catabolic state by feeding your body every few hours...

i said LOW carbs, not NO carbs.... enough to fuel your weight training workout... which means you would consume carbs BEFORE your workout to give you energy and AFTER your workout (with protein, of course) to replenish your glycogen stores (during exercise you break down muscle tissue, during recovery, muscles are rebuilt.... the whole process needs protein and carbs).... if your glycogen stores are not replenished i believe protein breakdown can still occur....

the key is to create an energy deficit in your system.... no, you will not lose fat SUPER QUICKLY, but you will lose it....
