Dorian didn't have the swollen, round muscle bellies...muscles that look like air is pumped into them. he had Dense..super dense, granite hard muscularity with an unmatched bear like thickness. From the side guys would dissappear next to Dorian. It's the overall impressive look that Dorian had that made him unbelievable. If you thought you were in shape and condition for the show once you stood next to Dorian you realized he brought it to another level for that size. many black BB's have that swollen air like roundness, but lack the true density and granit look that Dorian had. Ronnie doesn't, however.

ND- you should know that the photo you used, was taken directly after a chest workout of Dorian's, making him fully pumped....the other photo you posted is legit, but it's one of his better shots in that pose. Overall, he did have a weakspot in his chest area.

I know that was after a chest work out thats exactly why I posted , none of these are after a chest work out and they hold up quite well .

It looks like Yates' flexing his pec in some of the poses.

Perhaps Arvilla could elaborate on the difference flexing vs not flexing the pec in the side chest, as I saw him discussing that in his 'Road to Compete thread'?

Its pretty simple...its looks diffrent LOL.Just do it yourself while looking at a mirror and decide which looks is better for you.

Yates chest is not bad. It his thick mid section that makes his chest look smaller. Saying Yates chest is crappy is the same as saying Levrone doesnt stuff his pants.

like Hedgehog said, Dorian never really hit the pose properly - or at least not enough to best display his advantage

he threw his elbow too far back instead of pulling his arms up underneath his rig cage. He also needed to twist his torso more. The pose looks better if you don't hold it exactly perpendicular to the audience.

does it really matter? he beat them all (including coleman who was never even close to dorian when they both competed).

yates chest was underrated. not the best of chests but damn good. full, hard, and ripped.

Straight 5's in almost every single of his Mr Olympia wins , he kicked everyones ass when compared to him , you can't agrue these numbers .

true, anyone can look good standing alone. but that fact that yates won 6 consecutvie mr. o's and completely dominated everyone, what would be the point of showing pics. but it would still be nice to see some pics. i have some from mags, but no scanner.
