CHALLENGE to THE BEAST:Jennifer Cowan.
« on: July 14, 2006, 05:43:19 PM »
Jennifer or BEAST or whatever name you have made up for yourself.

I will pay you 100 dollars for every rep you perform with 315 lbs of squats.

The squats must be parallel or below.  The challenge is there if you want to take it.

Here is a page from your journal that I found most Amusing.

Legs! 2/11/06
I was a little intimidated going into legs day because my last few workouts have been sub-par. This week I meet up with a few other competitors that really get into my head and help mentally. I needed to push the envelope this week and get back into the game.

Squats
135-1/10 185-1/8 225-1/8 275-1/6 315-1/2

During squats I was still a little apprehensive. My lower back has been nagging a little and at this point I don't want to get injured. I wore a belt and knee braces and went at it-the whole gym was watching, mouths open. The had never seen a girl do 2 plates, much less three. Leg Press was where I really pushed it though, 9 plates was the most I had ever done.

It felt great to make that breakthrough after pushing so hard during squats. The lunges put me over the edge. My butt hasn't hurt like this in weeks, its great! I owe my training partners a big thank you. You all helped put me back on track, thanks for believing in me (and taking my crap!) I can get a little intense. Now I am feeling more confident. This is my year and I can't forget that.

It never happened because Bob wanted to do it in 8-10 weeks and I wanted it done THAT DAY.

That is why it never happened.

Jennifer Cowan can take it or leave it.  If she can easily do it, then this will be the fastest money she will ever make.

I know she can`t do it, so I am not worried.

are you suggesting that her quad/hamstring strength ratio leaves a lot to be desired, Jezebelle?

more like 80 percent, hahaha, there's an old story about when she was powerlifting and weighed about 180 she went to a competition and went to use the restroom and went in the ladies door and a woman told security that she saw a man walk into the women's restroom, true story.

Adonis, be careful...

When I was in college there was a woman named Millie Carter (I am not sure of the last name) who was a competitive female bodybuilder.  She was HUGE in the off-season and was close to 200 lbs while still being very lean.

I can still remember training at the World's gym in Tempe, AZ one afternoon and there was Millie in the squat rack next to me.  The woman REPPED OUT with 365 lbs!!! She handled it with ease and these were full squats.  I cannot remember if she was wearing knee wraps or not, but I DO remember being floored and bothered that a woman was squatting almost as much as me.

I doubt if Millie looked like this:

adonis' money is as safe as if it were in fort knox

someone will probably wrap her lower body like a mummy,
spot her by lifting up her torso and count (3) 5 inch reps and
then claim adonis didn't pay up   ::)

I received word yesterday that The Beast is CONFIRMED for Muscle Mansion later this month in Las Vegas!

So believe me, she'll be involved in plenty of strength challenges. ;)

That one was 200 lbs and enhanced I'm assuming...

This one is just over 100...

The weight would be crushing.

The Beast has zero credibility and some kind of incompetence issue.  It's ok if you can't lift the weight, no one cares what you lift...it's about how you look.

If you're gonna lie...next time don't claim such absurd numbers. ::)
