How awesome is it that Bob Chick criticises Lee Priest

For breaking his olympia contract....

But when Vince Taylor appears to be possibly breaking a PDI contract, ethics are out the window and its a shrug of the shoulders.

Where did you hear about this?  Was it in a magazine?  Did Chick say it on some broadcast?  Do you have the article scanned or the broadcast link handy?  I'd like to read/listen where Chick mentioned this.

Would Bob really speak badly about Lee?  I just can't see a man made from such a strong moral fabric resorting to such dastardly tactics.

Bob is the IFBB Athletes Rep not the PDI.  Why should he care about a PDI contract???

Because his points criticising Lee were supposedly about ethics and business.

And because his responsibility is to the athletes, not the IFBB.  Or atleast it should be, if it were an effective position.

Whats it pay, just curious i love the sport and think the PDI is good for bodybuilding and bodybuilders, their ability to earn money will go up with increased competition in the market, ive been bodybuilding along time similar to bob, im curious how much hes getting paid to give an opinion which in my opinion is inconsistent with someone who loves this sport, and i dont doubt that he loves the sport, id just like to know what his opinion cost, small change?

There havent been any PDI shows yet so nobody has broken any rules. Not Lee or Vince.

I will say this one moretime VINCE i am a IFBB athlete i have not been suspended or fined.I still have my IFBB pro card so YES once more i am still an IFBB athlete.GOT IT THIS TIME ?

PDI allows its guys to compete in the IFBB, do guestposings for the NPC, etc.

Vince signed a contract on June 18th to do the Night of Champions.

Until he doesn't show up in NYC, he hasn't really broken anything.

And, if anyone really thinks Vince Taylor is worth $100,000+ for one guestposing (when Coleman makes 5k a night) I have a bridge to sell you.  If he does swing that kind of loot for one night and you don't think it has EVERYTHING to do with the IFBB playing dirty, you're naive.

100K for a guest posing? what are you talking about? i'm saying that anyone can sign up for the PDI or the Mickey Mouse or whatever but until they compete in a show for them the IFBB wouldn't care.

Why should he care about an athlete breaking an IFBB contract?

His job is to represent the athletes, not the promoters!


Bob is like a union rep that tries to protect the company, not the union members he represents, then justifies it by saying "what's good for the company is good for the members".  ::)
