He was the true "Sultan of Symmetry"
« on: July 20, 2006, 11:34:48 AM »
in my book, Flex Wheeler is already in bodybuilding Hall of Fame. Well, He didn't win the Olympia before he retired, but as great as he was, his career minus the Olympia doesn't diminish in any way what this man has done for bodybuilding. He was the true Sultan of Symmetry. check this link out

Bill Pearl - the last true bodybuilder.

Everyone since him is just a drug-riddled freakshow.

in the 98 Olympia, so many people thought he would win, especially Dorian was already retired, and coleman was just a challenger, but I wonder if wheeler ever recover after his first loss to coleman at the 98 Olympia. cause a lot of people said that he started to play the MASS game after that Olympia

Too bad for his lack of training hard and properly! He could molded himself into a Mr. Olympia Champion but he just didn't have it in him.

"I new I had to call for an ambulance, so I dialed 911.  The Operater replied '911, how may I assist you?'  I said, this is Flex Wheeler, the operator said 'the bodybuilder!!??'  I said, Yes, the bodybuilder."

Impavid delusions of grandeur.
