Bridging
« on: July 20, 2006, 11:40:01 AM »
I'm considering bridging from my current cycle which has been a cutter, into a mass cycle. Considering using one sust300/ew or 300mg test-e. Anybody here bridge cycles? How has it effected your ability to keep gains vs. coming off completely with PCT?

I bridge using anavar.  It's only mildly suppressive which allows your nuts to recover.  Most definitely allows you to keep your gains better than with PCT alone.  Although I do a proper pct before starting my bridge.

opinions very on bridging...

personally, i think its retarded. youre either on...or off. nothing in between. 150 - 300mgs of test will shut you down, 40mgs of anavar will shut you down, 15 mgs of dbol will shut you down.....SOOOOOO

why not just continue to cycle? change esters....change dosages....change types...whatever...

but the bottom line is contrary to popular belief...bridging is just like being on a cycle....no natural test production will incur if your taking enough steriods to help with the "bridging" process. ON or OFF

bridging with anavar or even worse 10mg DBol wich some do is not a good idea at all. like someone else said-you are either on or off.

the only thing anybody should bridge with is creatine. their are also some really good non hormonal products available- some that work extremely well- I use this OTC product that just makes me so vascular its disgusting- its a NO(nitric oxide) product but im  not naming names- works just as well as EQ in my opinion- makes me even more vascular and makes my muscles hard as hell.

hey mem!!

I concur with the above advice.  Bridging is an illogical concept.  You stay depressed and make minimal if any gains.

Personally, I like to make a full recovery between cycles.  The younger guys can recover a lot quicker, but I can tell you that after 40, your recovery is much slower.  I am very much concerned with prolonged shutdown of my natural test production.  Lifting suffers, libido suffers, me not happy, wife not happy...

Some people are under the delusion that raising and lower doses or dropping several compounds and keeping one going steady is bridging :-\ I never did understand the concept all together since it is wise to get off the hormones at some point anyway just for health reasons like BP, cholesterol and testicular function. I doubt I will ever go on a cycle longer than 20 weeks at the absolute max and I can promise you that I would never let any less than 10 weeks pass before starting up the hormones again. Not wise IMO.

AGREED!

Like the seasons. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
Life in general has periods of development and dormancy (sp?)
Both balancing and restorative . . .

As an example . . . seasons expressed like a cycle.

Spring - The (mass) build up
Summer - Peak of the cycle
Fall - Refining the build
Winter - Rest

With a few exceptions (the equator)
few places in the world, ARE ON, all the time.

It has been 10 months since my last cycle.
I am READY to  s l a m  my receptors.
I have got a monster (20 week) program.

Good way of putting it bro. I bet you are aching to get back on and make more gains. It is as much mental as it is physical and I know that when I am eager to get at it my gains seem that much more profound. Or maybe I live in a world of delusions ;D

Yes this is probally one of the coolest things I have ever seen posted on this board.  Very true.  Takes lots of insight and life experience to see this for oneself.

Funny how this time frame for growth falls in line with the Olympia competition.

Well My friend! I appreciate you saying that.

I truly feel that this fits and I try
and consider this when I eb and flow
with my routine. All in the balance of things...

Kind of' a ZEN thing . . .

I was trying to explain periodization
to a couple non-BB friends and this
was the analogy that I used for them.
