Victor is soooooo fucking overhyped. His structure sucked. He never once attained contest level condition. And, his back did not compare to the rest of his physique. He never competed as a pro, becuse he knew he would get crushed, and the mystery would die.

If I remember correctly, he had an option to either earn a pro card in the US, or in Nigeria (dual citizenship). He chose the easy route. Does anyone have pics from the year he won the Nigerian nationals? They are hilarious. It was a bunch of under-fed skinny black guys. All standing next to Monster Victor...

correct.also when he posed during FIBO 1994,he actually looked small next to yates and paul dillet even tho victor was in his offseason weight of 330lbs..his structure was too narrow andhe had a real weak back too..during that posing both yates and paul dillet were not even in their full offseason mode and victor was always in his offseason..i really don't think so he would have had stood next to the real pros..he was nothing but an ordinary bodybuilder braggin about himself..

i have seen both in person ...............(years ago my buddy Freddy owned a gym in Lynn mass
he was friends with victor and he would always have Victor come and stay at his house,give seminars in the gym,go out to clubs,chase women etc etc)

first: Victor ate huge amounts of clean food!
second: Victor was always spouting off about racism "breaking the shackles of oppresion" etc
Third: huge freaking over 300 lbs and just Huge!..........(more impressive size wise than Coleman,but always in "off season mode"

arms,legs ridiculous!
pecs insane
a true monster before there were monsters!..................
now of course bb's have caught up to what was once Victors sole domain

i have some great stories of when we took Victor to Revere Beach (semi-famous beach in massachusetts)
and to "THE PALACE NITE-CLUB" (where i worked at the time)
and people just freaking out (stopping traffic etc)

I've read Victor's strength was quite impressive also. I'm not sure if it was Coleman standards, but I have read he threw up some heavy weight when he trained with the Barbarian Brothers and eventually surpassed them.

To me this smacks of the rhetoric of a small man. I know that sounds harsh and you have fantastic shape but Richards was a huge man and had good overall shape. To me you are blinded by human nature which dictates we like what we are or feel we can be to some extent or another.

One is a soon to be 9 time Mr. Olympia who has won more professional victories than anyone.

The other won the nigeria world cup and never competed
