yeah buddy, I saw the 3 minute intro to the global warming piece with Al Gore, it actually looked interesting.  I live about 10 minutes from the Gulf Of mexico, so I'm hoping to have beachside property inside ten years

It is scary though.  My thought is that once it becomes more obvious, technology will likely adapt automobile and other mnfg technologies to employ newer systems which don't output the CFCs (or whatever is causing the Gh effect), and it'll curb.  nobody changes until they have to, and necessity is the mother of all invention.

I been watching some of that global warming program.....in fact its on right now on the east coast.
At one part they were discussing how we are in fact still inhaling some of the carbon monoxide from the exhaust from cars in 1910 !

I think there are normal cycles but were screwing up the cycles.
Gas is now about 3.10 where I am....Hurricane season is just getting started.
Even one hurricane that tracks towards the gulf is gonna jack the gas prices up...never mind if one hits.
Pretty sure we're in an active cycle now....which means more hurricanes per season than the norm
Its gonna be a long hot summer

a cycle lasts around 20 yrs..we shoud be seeing temps drop by now..

yeah the earths orbit wobbles..during certain periods it gets more elliptical and temps get colder..now if the natural wobble of the axis coincides with the elongated elipse wt get an ice age...

global warming is happening despite these natural cycles..
