Bob Paris was such a contribution to the sport. Writing Gorilla Suit was really the first public invitation into the dark side of bodybuilding. His determination is also mentionable, rising from a homeless teenager to a championship bodybuilder, achieving the dream he struggled to achieve for so long. He hardly took any steroids and tried to push the sport towards drug-free and artistic competition. I train to look just like him.

Bob Paris is what bodybuilding is all about , perfect blend of balance & proportion , size , shape and aesthetics , amazing that he never once won a single professional contest.

I don't understand why some people make a big deal out of his homosexuality it has nothing to do with the greatness of his physique .

I'm actually glad that Bob Paris chose that lifestyle.

With his look, physique, eloquence, and artificial test levels, he probably could have deflowered all 3 billion women on earth by now, setting their standards artificially high for the rest of us slobs.

I believe Bob being gay has made it possible for the rest of us to hook up. We owe him.

You ain't kidding, I remember when me, Bob, Rory, Jon Aranita used to go out women were all over him.....LOL, what little did they know! But in all fairness, he did date Linda Blair for a while and used to even bring her to the gym!!

Intense Linda lived either behind or in front of Brad Davis the actor in that movie Midnight Express. Got a call one night to come over to her house from a few of my friends that were already there. I was with my girlfriend at the time. But, it appears I missed out on a great party. And it seemed a drunk and all fucked up Linda was the center of attraction. And I do mean the center.
