guaifenesin in vasopro

i was just wondering about the other active ingredient in vasopro (other that ephedrine) which is guaifenesin.  i know tons of bodybuilders and people trying to lose weight that take it for the ephedrine, but what are the side effects of the other ingredient?  will it harm me.  also, it says to take only if diagnosed with athsma by a doctor, which i havent been.  is this ok to take?  my girlfriend wants to know and be assured by someone but me.  thanks

Seriously man...WTF does your girlfriend care? Why does she give a shit what guaifenesin is? Like she's all worried about your body/health. This is funnybecause I can bet my life if you drank every weekend...smoked a pack a day and ate garbage day in and day out...had a big ol flabby beer belly...drank soda everyday...I PROMISE you should would never bat an eye about what you are putting into your body. She would never raise an eyebrow. Know why? it is because everything els I described to you is part of her culture. Its normal to her.

 I hate it when a wife or gf is all a sudden 'concerned' about what are in supplements if their boyfriend or husband decided to use any...like they give a flying fcuk. If they were to light a cigarette up and drink 8 Miller Lites on Thursday night and stop at White Castle on the way home to eat 20 sliders...no wife or gf raises an eyebrow. It's because all of that is 'normal' and 'okay'. I hate people.

Guaifenesin is a nasal decongestant most commonly found in OTC cold medications.  It's in there so they can sell the ephedrine legally.

It can also act as an expectorant as a precaution to you taking too high of a dose of ephedrine at once.
