I want a 500lb bench press...i'm at 410 right now...


what numbers do ya'll need to write me up a powerlifting routine?

I did....my raw bench is 523 as of last Saturday!

it's giving me more and more reps each time and slowly climbing my max up! it's up 25lbs from when you sent it to me!  :D

if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

25lbs in a few weeks is incredible...i would be more than happy with that.

my training partner got me fired up..did 6 reps with 315 to get the juices going

touched 385 three times...then went for it to see if i could. 


425 for a single! ofcourse there was alot of yelling and cussing leading up to it but it helped get me psyched! the gym trainers didnt' mind the cussing as long as i hit it i was told...if i went through all that and missed they were gonna give me shit.

i havne't been using hte boards though..i've modified it a little to fit into my current training styles! i love this workout but FUCK you've got to do some eating on this thing!  :-X :D

Lockout strength...you are working the top of the movement and you can use more weight in this fashion to help strengthen the tris.

Wolfe can probably explain it better than myself...

I'VE THOUGHT ABOUT USING THE SMITH MACHINE OR POWER RACK TO WORK ON THAT!

i have yet to do it! but if that's the purpose of the boards! i should start finishing off my workouts with that!

HELL i can hit 395 for 10 reps at 50% rom! if this honestly helps then i'm gonna start using it! when i tried it i focused on the mid range to finishing point where i was slowing down towards the end of a set..i get about halfway up then would struggle...

not so much teh case anymore..but if this is gonna help me move some big fucking weight and make a difference in my benching...especially in my lagging tricep area....i'm stoked!
