Is there such things as POST-TRAUMATIC OWNING DISORDER???
« on: July 26, 2006, 03:49:43 PM »

A good point was brought up today. It is widely established everyday what a bonified a$$hole Louie F is with his notoriety of having a burning hatred to all of his 'fans' and demanding $20 take pictures with(own camera included), get an autograph from and some reports say...just to walk past him. Is he taking out his built up rage out on all of 'us' from the SEVERELY BRUTAL OWNING he recieved at the breakfast table in front of his parents at the hands of Arnold Schwarzenegger which can be seen in the film 'Pumping Iron'. Can the extreme humiliation and embarassment be what is driving him to hate his 'fans' so much that he feels a perpetual need to strip them of $20?

The King...in NJ was a 2nd tier BB in the early 2000's now plummeting to 3rd tier maybe even 4th tier with a physique heading towards Stage-2 'palumboism' at a rapid pace. Was it from the constant self-ownings brought on upon his claim to greatness against legends of this sport and from the 'bucktoothed jackasses' who he claims MOTIVATES him to be bigger and better? Did his motivation become self-destructive from all the OWNINGS he expierenced from cyberspace?

The IFBB 'rep' is a prime target for getbig abuse and OWNINGS at an alarming rate...does his blurting and poor decisions in the IFBB which shows...maybe possibly falling apart stem from the massive monumental ownings he took since he first logged on?

What about Craig and Kelly? Always known to be a couple thats a little 'out there' but did the downward spiral of sex induced debauchery, criminal activities and murder come from the cluster of internet OWNINGS of their character and facial structure? Did the fall from grace so much and become just as notorious a couple this side of Sid Viscious and Nancy Spungeon because of the brutality of getbig ownings? Was it a factor? Can they use it as a defense plea? Can getbig OWNINGS lead people in the BB/FIT/FIG community to react in a less than popular manner?

The list goes on...it is no different than the killers at the highschool in Colorado back in 1999. They endured OWNINGS everyday by the 'cool kids' so astronomically...it caused them to REACT.

What do we predict? Do OWNINGS getbig style really cause the victim to have massive meltdowns to the degree of personal self-destruction? Are WE here on getbig that influential? Do we hold that much power in this industry? As 240 claims...''only time will tell.''

It is very much real.  Many Bbers are used to being able to physically rule every room they are in.  Their magazine interviews are softball at best, their images carefully cultivated in the very controlled world of fitness publications.

Then, they decide to leave this safety for the lucrative, yet very chaotic and unregulated world of message boards.  They believe the fact they own a pro card will allow them to impose their views of the sport or other issues upon others, without adequate evidence to support such claims.  When they are opposed, they feel angry, and attempt to have the moderator strike down this dissension.  This might work elsewhere, but not on getbig.

Here, an individual who tries to insult the intelligence of others will be called on it.  Then, the masses will judge the validity of the statement - and the credibility of the person in question - based upon the response of others.  Obviously, anonymous or new members' opinions carry little worth.  But when a longtime industry figure agrees, it means something.

Message boards have caused change, both good and bad, in the sport.  Some ways we'll never know.  Some, we will.  Some men have obviously been affected, others hide it.  Some have lied about their weight to impress strangers.  Some men have taken gear levels beyond what they should - because patience is something they don't have, thanks to the boards.  Some people have gone so far as to threaten to hurt or sue people whose opinions differ from theirs.  imagine being so full of oneself that you think you have the right to sue someone for voicing an opinion which you don't agree with.  i suppose an IFBB pro card has more worth than the constitution to some.

So yes, the guys get owned, and they let it get into their heads.  For some, it takes a special type of insecurity to juice at the high levels which take 10-40 years off of ones life. They live for 9 months for a show, stand nearly naked for thousands to judge, then are mocked on boards, and they cannot take it.  post-traumatic owning disorder, while still in its infancy stage, will continue to grow, unfortunately.  We'll see more examples of guys who will go too far in real life based upon what is nothing more than an exchange of ideas and thoughts on a computer server.

it's just a message board.  You don't weigh 230, Tom.  You are not unbiased, Bob.  You have palumboism, King. HTH.

Yeah, right. Like that would ever happen!

It would be funny if psychologists begin to look at Post-traumatic Owning Disorder as a serious psychological disorder.

Perhaps Titus could use it in court as his defense for that whole "desert misunderstanding".

This is a real thing...240 uncovered the truth once again...I just happen to put a name on the disorder. I expect to see this establised in the medical community by early next year. I also wonder who's next on the list...it appears Mr. Ray is been expierencing some symptoms with him throwing down the gauntlet on our boss Ron. I never knew how much power/influence us getbiggers have on the industry whos' who.

On another note...last night in the gym I was talking to a national level figure competitor...through basic chat she mentioned how she posts all the time on mayhem...I asked her why she doesnt post on getbig instead and she tells me...hahaha...she tells me...'Oh, no way Im actually afraid to...I dont want people to make fun of me...' Hahahahaha! Meltdown.

This is because this board tells the truth about bodybuilding and how it is today!

You post on mayhem, and you'll feel great, shoot some more GH and prepare for contest.

Post on Getbig, and you'll look at your gut and your jawline and you'll stay in bed the next day, crying about what you've done to your body.

 ;D ;D

Yea thats true...the TRUTH hurts all the time. On Mayhem becaise even though I dont post there I sometimes find myself navigating their forums just browsing and its all the same...'Good luck bro, you look good bro...check my myspace, bro...how was your weekend bro...you look great good luck at the show:) , we are the world bro, we are the children, bro we are the ones who make a brighter day(bro) so lets start givin...bro...'

Getbig is the Thunderdome. When people register for the first time...there should be an audio clip that says...'Welcome to Thunderdome, BITCH!'

Still...not everyone is fit for getbig. It has been proven the OWNINGS that one can recieve on here has a direct effect on outside behavior.
