No i spoke to Twinlab way before i signed and they didn't have a problem with it.Unlike another company i was talking to how was thinking of signing me but got pressure from you know who not to .Oh what a game the ifbb play pretty funny and childish.I am sure other companies would stepp up if the stupid threats from the IFBB stopped.

No, no rivalry. I'm sorry Vinny for that, but I feel with the constant swirl of speculation, without clarification, everyone would think you bailed because you were talked out of it. There is more at stake here than you and your world vinny, and I think you should have wanted to tell everyone why you would not be there. I think it is important that people know. I was not trying to be a dick, just keeping loyal to make sure this thing goes off without a hitch. As far as other PDI guys I talk to.....I only talk to one-TJ and I told him yesterday that I though he was going to beat me, so as far as anyone talking about my big ego...Well I don't know what thats about, Well, unless you count Jimmy Vest, I understand he has said that about me..Thats okay though, I stand by what I did, I am sorry though, if I hurt you, I don't really know how I did, but still sorry if I did.

If Vince dropped out, then its great for him.  He can compete and win easily at the Master's Nationals and get a REAL IFBB PRO CARD.  Fact is he still has the opportunity to join the ranks where others have basically no chance

Sadly, yes.  A big pat on his own back for spearheading the charge to eliminate an entity which would bring more bargaining power to the athletes. Hooray. I'll say it again, because it makes sense...

This is like all the Walmart employees, laughing and dancing in the parking lot as the Target across the street closes.  As they walk inside, Walmart mgmt laughs a bit louder.

Why? Well, now Walmart mgmt is now able to lower wages, cut hours, and eliminate benefits.  After all, where else can the employees work now?  Mgmt no longer has to worry about keeping shoppers happy either, and raises prices.  After all, there are no other places in town to shop!

Cashiers will giggle as they work for less.  Customers will laugh as they pay more and wait in longer lines to buy from a lower selection.  They'll all claim a victory.  They'll high-five and thank their Union rep for chasing Target out of town.

OK, what have we learned from this thread?

1. The PDI is dead in the water.
1a. The competitor's list for the NOC is pathetic and Russian Guy #3 is favored.

2. 240 used a valid economic analogy that Chick for some reason couldn't comprehend.

3. Chick was responsible for all Olympia competitors walking away with at least $4,000 even though they spend $7,000 on contest prep.

4. The IFBB actually only raised the total purse by $6,000 not $66,000.

5. Rhino sold out his friend, a jackass move.

6. 240 took a gayass picture of himself where he doesn't have a shirt on but he's wearing a bulletproof vest and holding a gun and three magazines of ammunition. Perhaps the most ridiculous self portrait I've ever seen. For sheer outrageousness it rivals the gayass  G.I. Joe photoshoot Chick did.

I was going to mention it AFTER it was talked through with Wayne....I did sign a contract, and wanted to confirm it with him first that i had an injury that would prevent me from training 100% for the next 4-6 weeks....actually i cant train at all.

I have told a few people besides Jack, and thought he was cool to respect my wishes.....but, HE JUST PROVED THAT YOU CANT CONFIDE IN HIM.

So now, without further ado, I present to you the TOP FIVE REASONS VINNY IS NOT DOING THE NOC:

1. Vinny lost three teeth playing ice hockey last week and the PDI's Dental Plan doesn't cover injuries from "contact" sports.
2. Vinny received an offer to guest pose at three prominent National-qualifiers at $2500 a pop from NPC promoters if he forgoes the NOC.
3. Manion has assured him that like Chick at the Masters Show, Vinny will receive a "very close look" if he chooses to compete at the NPC Nationals this year and forgo the NOC.
4. He was only competing because he and Rhino had fallen in love, and now that they've split up, the show's off.
5. Rhino promised Vinny a "high-powered" "mid-six figure" job selling "commodities" to "high net worth" individuals at the world's "most prominent" financial "investment bank" if he "fakes" a "biceps injury" and "drops out" so Rhino can "move up" the "placing ladder".
