You know Bob's line on this shit. If you weren't sitting in the first row, you're not in a position to judge. Whatever.

What I want to know is what's going on with that weird curve of his back. Untreated scoliosis?

Bob was at his best back then.  His waist was smaller and his conditioning was better than in any of his pro shows.  He deserved the win.

To think this could have been Bob's 18th year as a pro if he had only been a bit more dialed in at this show:

http://www.musclememory.com/show.php?c=USA+Championships+-+NPC&y=1989

Definitely not an overnight success story.

Bob must hate this guy, whoever he is

Johnny Morant? Never heard of him before.

He beat Aaron Baker?

He must have sucked somebody off for that one.

Nah...I was good friends with Johnny...big sonofabitch....1 point and a pro card was a possibility, only problem was, back then there wasn't any second card given...There's no way I could've beaten Eddie Robinson at that point in my career...

I wasn't a bit off, I was dialed in 99%....Johnny had 10 pounds of muscle on me, thats why he beat me.

You have to remember, were talking about 1989...my 3rd national show, and the fact I was 23 years old...

I posted this on another thread but it goes well here too.

Now let's look at the facts. Let's look at the placing at the 2000 USA

Super-HeavyWeight

1 Bob Cicherillo – Best shape of his life
2 Robert Washington – Good but lacks balance
3 Bill Wilmore – Not yet
4 David Palumbo – Need I say more?
5 Rico McClinton – Lacks balance, not in top shape
6 Erik Fromm – conditioning was WAY off.
7 Art Atwood – Strange body, not in top form
8 Quincy Taylor – Wasn’t ready yet.

HeavyWeight

1 Tevita Aholelei– Got the 2nd Pro card, looked good but Bob had him that night
2 Troy Alves – wasn’t ready to beat Tevita therefore not in competition with Bob
3 Branch Warren – same as Troy

Light-HeavyWeight

1 Fred Bigot – Competition for Bob? Nope
2 Johnnie O Jackson – Gotta get through Fred first

MiddleWeight
Michael Valentino – Don’t remember the guy but a middleweight has to be superb to take the heavier guys.

LightWeight
Jose Raymond – Good but same story as with the middleweight.

BantamWeight
Lance Harano – Please... I was the one who handed the guy his trophy.

Conclusion… Bob deserved his win at the 2000 USA and his Pro card. Sorry to bust your faulty conclusion but Bob is a DESERVING IFBB Pro. And the conspiracy theory get thrown right...

...out the friggen window!
and keep moving!

I remember him!

Johnnie "The Executioner" Morant, 1989 IFBB North American Champion. He debuted in the IFBB at the 1990 Night of Champions and placed 4th. He didn't compete in the Olympia that year.

Later, he was one of the 13 guys who joined the World Bodybuilding Federation (WBF) and, donning a giant black hood, ended up with the aforementioned nickname.

Tom Platz referred to him as "Mr. Potential"; Vince McMahon stated, "If he ever gets it all together...WOW!!!! Look out!".

good job posting doctored photos to try and argue your point.  Bottom line is that you got a pity pro card, and the best you ever did with that por card was 18th at the Olympia, not counting masters competition (basically a cop out for not competing in regular classes because you're too old and can't hack it anymore)

one of these days im going to come visit and bring you a new walker old man
