I have know Jack for over 20 years and he is a great guy, I also met Bob Chic at various pro shows and also at The Firehouse restaurant in CA.  He is also a great guy...Jack did compete and won the show in Atlantic City on March 30, 1996.  I know, because I also competed in the show. Jack helped me with some last minute prep stuff, I was getting flat and he suggested for me to eat some fat (actually he offered me some of his turkey burgers)  I do have the pictures and a poster, have to dig it up.  But, again, why does it matter?  He earned the right to compete as a PDI Pro. And as for his last show the NPC Delaware, again which I was at (attending, helping some of my friends who were competing) this was Jack's first show since a 6-7 year layoff form competing...

Thought this board was to be informative...and most of the bashings are from guys who probably never competed or hardly ever train hard!

Actually it does matter. I am not taking sides, but if he did win and I do believe he did, then he atleast deserves credit for it! Like I said, you can't enter the Worlds without winning an overall national qualifier. Thanks for the post.

This could make things interesting. I also agree to keep women out of this. There is no way in hell that people can know if anything about beating people is true. People here lie about pming people for crying out loud.

There is the video (link) that someone posted from the 1997 world championships that took place in Greece. Someone should order it - if Jack's mug is on that video from the NABBA World's, than the video of prescence at the World Championships should be considered said proof of the US National win.

While I like Chic and think for the most part he means well, the above can easily be verified if he or Jack bought the video and watched it. Frames from the video can be uploaded via you tube or daily sixxer and thus this silliness can be dropped and we can discuss more important things such as how hard does one need to concentrate while doing a concentration call or the art of wearing a fag bag while working out or does wearing a banadana while working you make  aperson look any stronger and so on...

completely aside from my hatred for Chick, what do you guys think about a guy fathering a child after the age of 40, especially with a history of using anabolics and hormone altering drugs?  Studies have proven that Fathers over 40 have a higher percentage of children with birth defects, chromosomal disorders, and schizophrenia.  Google it up if you don't believe me but there is a definite amount of genetic degradation of sperm after the age of 35, that gets progressively worse.  Not to mention the fact that when your kid is old enough to drink legally, the parent is already in their 60's.  How fair is that to the kid?
