Floyd Landis
« on: August 05, 2006, 05:36:25 PM »
At Seoul Olympics in 1988, Ben Johnsen was busted for steroids and within hours we knew he had been doing stanozolol.

Fast forward to 2006, Floyd Landis is busted for an 11:1 ratio between testosteron/epitestosteron, but after a week or so of speculations (and a positive B-test), still no mentioning of what type of testosteron/steroid he has used. Nothing on deca, nandrolone, winny, "clear" etc etc, just that there "is/must have been an outside source" or as UCI says an "adverse analytical finding".

Anyone out there with some insights to the world of meds?
-Anyone who has read what type of test/roid he supposedly has used?
-Is it possible that he could have had very low epitestosterone levels?
-Can you read from the sample if the test level is high or normal or can you only read ratios?

More than likely he was using a fast acting testosterone...More than likely it was test suspension...Or maybe a testosterone with no ester attached....Since he didn't test positive one day, and did the next he did...It's also a possibility he failed to mask the test use by injecting epi test...If someone usingis using Nandrolone, Stanzolol, oxymetholone it doesn't raise test levels; only using testosterone can raise testosterone....Don’t get me wrong anti estrogens and steroidal Ai's are proven to raise test to some degree...11 to 1 test ratio is high that's something like 3000ng i believe...

Thank you for your response!

a couple of follow up questions;

would it then be as simple as to inject test/epi in a ratio lower than 4 to 1 to beat the test? could Floyd's overnight recuperation have been caused by test? or does test only add to the recuperation when used over a longer term, such as a cycle?
