I think some people are just dying to be offended. I remember when I mentioned that the race of models played a big part in marketing efforts, and that groups were more llikely to purchase a magazine with a person on the cover with whom they associated themselves with- whether it be skin color, age, education level, career, gender, etc.
Vince said it was "the most racist thing I've heard in my entire life!"
Now, if Vince grew up in the south, worked as a Corrections Officer, and ever opened a history book during his 29 years.... and if a commonly used marketing technique was THE MOST RACIST THING HE'S EVER HEARD, I think he may have been being a tad dramatic. I think some people are dying to be offended. I am glad he isn't pursuing this more, as Lee doesn't seem to be a racist at all.
