i don't think the canadian space program really got off the ground That's why the arm used in the space station's made in Canada - i smell GED from these two, with the continued goofy, uneducated & unaware remarks covering a wide range of know-nothing comments. bmacsys is so aware of what transpired in German that he couldn't even get the spelling of some of their names right. hahahaahahahahaha

What the hell does it matter if Werner Von Braun was a Nazi or not? We took scientists and the Russians took scientists at the end of the war so what? Point is he was brought to our country and helped us develop our missile/rocket programs. The fact that he was Nazi only matters if he's actively trying to carry out the Nazi plan. Not every Nazi was guilty of war crimes also. Even if he was his expertise in his field and what he could do for our country outweighed his crimes as a Nazi for the most part unless he was directly murdering and torturing people. Yes and the arm Canada made defines the American space program.

Yes and the arm Canada made defines the American space program. Seriously you guys make comments that suggest you barely made it through high school. Let's summarize: -Would Canada have had to make the whole station to be taken seriously? -Last time i looked, you dumb Americans had TWO shuttles blow up, with more possibly on the horizon. Nice job, dumbasses! No wonder you need Canadians & Germans in your programs. hahahahahaahahhaahahaaha hahaahahahaha

i think pumpster's just envious b/c you got to know people who made history . . . i don't think the canadian space program really got off the ground . . . so he didn't have that chance. Canada's post office can't even deliver mail in a timely fashion. Forget about a space program.

A lot of people were formers Nazis, big deal! Not all of them were guilty of war crimes. I'm sure von Braun didn't really give a shit about the Nazi movement and its beliefs, he was just in it probably because it would give him the funding and resources needed for his dreams.

Oh please.... you seem like you got "short guy" complex. 2 shuttles blowing up? If Canada ever has a space program and launches one of their OWN manned rockets half as many times as the US has to do somehting more than just take a space ride then you can talk. Otherwise, you got nothing except a whiner's whimper. (and national health care )
