Max, how come Rory didn't make it really big?I I always thought he was the one guy who could have beat Haney.

Politics. Rory never wanted to play the political games that were required. He was not a Weider boy...

How could anyone hold that against somebody? When Rory oversaw your training did you have to eat and eat and eat as Bob Paris said Rory had his guys do?

Below are two diets I had in my training journels that Rory put me on in 1983...

Diet 1:

Meal 1:
3 soft boiled eggs
Protein drink (8 ounces of juice, 3 scoops of protein powder)
2 pieces of fruit

Meal 2: (after training)
12 ounces of red meat
4 eggs
4 ounces of cottage cheese with chopped fruit

Meal 3:
Protein drink (half and half, 3 scoops ice cream, 4 scoops protein, 2 tablespoons honey

Meal 4:
Salad-vegetable plate
2 honey, peanut butter sandwiches
3 eggs

Meal 5:
8 ounces red meat
4 ounces cottage cheese
Protein drink (8 ounces juice, 3 scoops powder

Meal 6:
1 cup yogurt with trail mix
2 eggs

Meal 7:
2 sandwiches (tuna, egg, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, 2 slices whole wheat bread)
Protein drink (juice, 3 scoops powder

Meal 8:
Protein drink (3 scoops powder, ice cream, half and half, honey)

Diet 2:

Meal 1:
6 ounces V8 juice
½ apple, ½ banana, 4 ounces pineapple
3 eggs
4 ounces beef heart

Meal 2: (after training)
Salad-natural dressing, 3 ounces of trail mix, 2 chopped eggs, 4 ounces of cottage cheese
3 pieces of chicken or ½ chicken
6 ounces V8 juice

Meal 3:
4 eggs
6 ounces beef heart
2 brain muffins
Protein drink (juice and 3 scoops powder)

Meal 4:
Tuna egg sandwich (1/2 can, 1 egg, 1 ounce cheese, tomatoes, 2 slices whole wheat bread)
Protein drink (2 scoops powder, ½ cup low fat yogurt, juice

Meal 5:
 ½ chicken
8 ounces steamed vegetables
1 baked potatoe
