But you were prepared to shout your mouth off at Shawn!

Exactly. 240 - come on bro, we all see it. You and Keith love to bash on Shawn and the Co Pro show. When others present similar questions about the pdi you have an excuse. If the Co pro show had no web site you'd be all over his ass. I'm not saying the lack of a site is either of yours fault but don't try to defend it with deflections.

Well, as we all know it's very dangerous to comment on message boards on any project in which you are in any way involved.  I was free to give my opinion on the Colo show, as a fan who 1) loved to argue with shawn, and 2) saw hat shawn was playing the old switcheroo.

I don't feel comfy commenting on this situation.  Already, after telling myself I'd avoid the Rhino/Chic issue, I did chime in when Chic was starting victory threads when he was completely wrong, so I butted in to deliver proof and well, Chic decided to "drop it".

In this situation, you'll see I'm not blindly defending anyone or anything.  I stated that indeed, if you see an athletes face on a poster, it is there because a signature was put on paper giving permission by that athlete.  No man would use someone's likeness without legal permission, or he could be sued for his shirt.  That can go for a PDI ad, a walmart commercial, or a political party yard poster.  The guys on that poster have signed something permitting their image and likeness to be used for PDI marketing purposes, right?

Now, on that particular PDI show, I do not know the details enough to speak either way, and even if I did, my involvement with web design for some of the PDI guys would make any statement unprofessional.  Same with the radio show, the show schedule, etc - I'll never speak on it publicly.  I know better than anyone, that anything you post on the boards can be easily misconstrued.

Do i support competition?  hell yes.  The more the merrier.  I wish Tre' would co-found a female federation this spring and make stars out of a lot of the ladies.  Then maybe another BBing federation for under 200-lbers only, in the fall of 06.  There is room for growth, and anytime you have more than one company in a field, all employees and customers will make more money.

At the moment I do not know the contents of the membership contract of the PDI. What we do know is that at least 2 of the athletes featured on that poster have not signed contracts to compete.
You call yourself a fan, so from a fans perspective, do you consider it right that an athletes image be used to advertise a competition that they have not contracted to enter. It's a simple question requiring a yes or no answer.

Now, on that particular PDI show, I do not know the details enough to speak either way, and even if I did, my involvement with web design for some of the PDI guys would make any statement unprofessional.

The details of the show are clear. Nobody is asking you to make an evaluation of one of your clients physiques. You claim to be independant of any organisation so what's your personal opinion on this issue. You've been very vocal in the past over athletes appearing at shows, so how come the reluctance now?
It's also odd that you claim it unprofessional to discuss a promoters poster, yet you have a record of insulting a number of athletes.

I tell you what it's called.  It's called "loyalty", something that is missing a lot in the world lately.  How about not biting the hand that feeds you and remembering who has helped you at one point or another in your carreer and show gratitude instead of turning your back on them or always looking for something better somewhere else.
There can always be better but remember, there can always be worse, A LOT WORSE!
Something to think about.

I agree 100%.  I too am very loyal.  A major reason why I don't like Manion is cause his lack of loyalty.  Weider is on a whole different level.

I don't quite get it.

You don't feel comfy commenting on some of the tougher questions raised regarding PDI, some of them quite legit, IMO.

Due to business with PDI athletes and so forth.

So why are you at all posting on PDI/IFBB organisation topics? If you don't feel comfy commenting on some of it?

Lee, it's a simple question. Will you hold the PDI to the same standard you held the IFBB? Will you compete if you are required to do anything other than compete?

Why is it PDI guys don't answer direct questions?  ??? ??? ???
Still waiting for Lee on this one.....

A. Did I drop it? I believe sufficient time was given to produce proof, and nothing was brought forward other than heresay....the issue itself was dropped as the answer was quite obvious.

A. The question wasn't whether Wayne had "permission" to use photos, it was whether these athletes were ACTUALLY COMPETING, like LEE who said himself...he hadn't seen the contract yet. You know, the same argument YOU used for the Colo Pro...

Amazing that you feel "comfy" commenting on IFBB matters, when you have zero knowledge of anything ... then backpeddle in record time when asked to answer the same questions regarding the PDI. Stop acting like you're some sort of authority on bodybuilding, when you have yet to leave your house or have any REAL experience in the game.

DeMilia is sending a message to Galanti that he's gonna fcuk him up for leaving the PDI. ;D

I'm sure DeMilia will get lots of heat from some people for putting up people on the poster that aren't even gonna compete.

Since I doubt DeMilia will pay the trip over the pond, I'm sure you won't see Jack London or any of his fellow Americans compete there either.

Just a guess though. I have nothing of any substance on that.

No, my interest in the PDI has nothing to do with my friendship wiht Peter.
Why is questioning the PDI seen as a defence of the IFBB?

Receiving paychecks from the same magazine that calls itself the "official journal of the IFBB", which is also
run by your pal Mcgough removes any possibility of you actually having an objective opinion.

The PDI is competition, and the IFBB followers (i.e. you) don't like it for that simple reason.

So you must then consider 240 to be devoid of objective opinion about the PDI because he receives payments?

The PDI is not credible competition to any federation.

Thats none of your fucking business. Why don't we discuss your contracts, and whether they are in jeopardy with the sale of the mags?

Don't you address me like it means anything, I'm not some stupid kid.

You see me on the poster, you want to see me, go to the show. My business dealings are none of your fucking business.

You really do need to learn the difference between asking legitimate questions and "bashing".

I'd suggest that you five Scott Horton a call - his number is on the poster and ask him about this show. Let's see you explain this one.
