 You look good, player...good job!

Work on the lower abs and watch those obliques and you're MONEY!

 Upper middle-weight? Lower-Light Heavy I presume?

Thanks blockhead...

actually I am 6' in those pics I am about 215--low heavies...compete around 208 at Jr USAs placed 7th(Robert Jones) but I was the youngest competitor out of everyone there...got some work to do but I like the experience and peps i met in the industry..first time I ever worked with a trainer too

these pics are 2 weeks out from my show..I dont have the pics but this time I used diazide/aldactone combo and it changed my whole apperance, I always hold water lower abs and lower back ALL THE TIME

Its all good now...I just hit 270lbs and have a few abs but still veins in the arms..going to win states next year and go back to Jr USAs

Okay okay my bad...I didnt know you were 6'.

If you got down to even...209-211 range just a tad bit tighter you'd win every HW class I see on the NPC circut.

Thats a better shot for you...your waist looks better there. What did a trainer do for you differently than when you were on your own?

Not too sure about the gym you're in...not enough dust and chalk all over the floor for me. What do the dumbbells go up to in that brutal hardcore gym?

no that gym I dont train at, never have actually...its my trainers personal facilty that he trains his corporate clients in--I was driving 1.5 hrs just to meet him

I used to work with Mike Valentino when he getting ready for the masters olympia (won light heavies when Chic got his pro card 2001?) but he got all pissed cause he like fcking young bitches and I ruined his game...my trainer really got me to deplete then he carbed me up like hell (with twinkies and white potatoes) plus he helped me with the diuretics and that is what I needed, also I was training to hard too close to the shows, so he got me to relax and chill-not even step foot in the gym for 2 weeks before show---worked like hell

my trainer is Rich Hooten from Greenville, NC won NC States in 96' and his wife won masters figure 2004--great people to work with

Wow...a carb up w/ twinkies/white potatoes...interesting. How long were you carbing up like this?

Diuretics are tricky because they have the potential to make you look 5% better or 5% worse so I'm a little but apprehensive about using them.

How did you stand it not being able to go near a gym 2 weeks before a show...geez I'd freak!

How many days did he have you training and how many cardio sessions per week? I usually dont get too serious on these boards I like being an ass but were the same height and my last show(april06) I came in at 220 and I was told too heavy(water/fat) and if I were to come in around 210-214 I'd be top of my class...so my goal for my next show is to be int he 212-215 range because I think I would grow and put more muscle on before then...

We have similar structures so just trying to pick your brain a little thats all...

no problem homie...

I did states 3 weeks before Jr's..I met my trainer that night after I placed 2nd at states so i was in contest shape when we started working together

that night he told me on the way back to the pad to shitload like a sombitch just on sunday after the show--so I did(burgar king, twinks, cupcakes, all kinds of shit)--he then calls me mon and says "how do you look" and I looked better(a lot fuller)--I had depleted too much for states and didnt carb up right.

I did cardio at the criznak for 5 days upon waking-30mins 3.5 w/ incline--I might of worked out once but he told me I was on my mark and there was no use burning up glycogen stores if I keep my diet str8

so I ate orange roughy(fish), brown rice, sweet potatoes for the 2 weeks EVERY MEAL -- nothing else -- leading up to the show, that diet alone depleted me down like hell---he even told me not to take ANYTHING(aas, igf, gh, nada) except I was runnin proviron until weds

Then on Thurs I was like 205 felt like SHIT..then he told me to order a large thin crust from Dom's--ate the shit outta that thing...then Fri driving to Charelston he had me eating fish and white potatoes, that night FRI came the twinks then on Sat morn I ate the buffet waffles at the suites with Palumbo!!

The lack of sugar for so long then the twinkies got my insulin levels up and that caused me to fill out like hell from depleting for a week with just the fish/rice/sweet po's, then the diuretics sucked the water out so I was dry as hell

...I really liked the aldactone cause you can still take in small amounts of water and not hold it
but I did look flat on stage with the older guys but Chad Martin won the overall and he was in my class

Now that looks like one American who loves his freedom.  Also the kind of guy you'd want in your trench when shit got ugly.

He won w/ a torn pec to...

Interesting process. I'm ging to print your post and pick some ideas from it...sometimes guys are literally afraid to really really carb up even with shitloading...I guess it depends on how depleted you are and how you look 2 weeks out.

Trial/Error. Thanks for the input...my question is...why did he have you get off of everything weeks before the show? I can see running the proviron until a few days out but why everything els...

I run it right up to the day of the show...day of my show I was eating halos like they were candy...
