can any one tell me pretty much what beta is because i work at a gnc and the owner says its something illegal but when i looked it up it said it was amething like a creatine.

I think I know what you're talking about.  BETA-7 right? The active ingredient is beta-alanine, i wish i knew more about it, but theres not alot of info to be found online with that stuff.  Anyone else know bout it???

Actually just read some stuff bout it.  Its supposed to decrease the rate of lactic acid build up, thus allowing you to work out harder (more reps).  Which if you think about it, those last few reps are where you're going to be tearing the muscle up and therefore giving you muscles the stimulus to grow.  Sounds like the idea behind this is solid, not sure if it actually works.  Someone chime in on this thread, im really interested in the stuff & wanna see what you older wiser ppl think about it.

U mean legal as in US Government or NCAA or something like that?  I doubt its illegal for normal people, but if your playing sports or something I would double check cuz NCAA is extremely strict with supplements.  Even too much caffine will get you in trouble if they test you.
