What Vince bought was most likely legal, but customs can still hold it and give him a hard time. He most likey did not hire a broker which he should have done. Let's say that you bought a part for your car from a company and they were having it shipped in from Italy. After a few weeks they wrote you a letter telling you that their shipment was lost so tuff luck, you are out the money you spent. In Vince's case his customers were most likely buying a product that was legal or represented as legal. The refund legally falls on Vince and has nothing to do with the customer.
Exactly. the country I ordered from is very strict on shipping and I couldn't find a viable broker so I had to free-ball it. The last time I had my packages seized was back in December from Germany. I only lost 200 dollars on that but it was insured fortunately.
If you were wondering what was in the package...it was some bee pollen, cayenne pepper, and a new product I was testing out I nicknamed, Cobra Kai. No steroids or anything.
There is a chance it'll go back to the supplier and I'll get the money back but it will be at least 4-5 months IF IT HAPPENS.....

But for right now, I gotta cover my people and refund their money. That's the way it is
As Bob would say. Sometimes you get the elevator....sometimes you get the shaft.
