So you're saying everyone trains equally hard? What a brilliant insight. ::)

You prove to me your a mindless, moronic tool everyday...

My point was, (if you were as hard working as some of us)  training, dieting, and doing everything possible, will yeild different results from individual to individual... In reference to what Levronie did for his Triceps, is DOESNT MATTER, because there is NO MAGIC movement to get you LEVRONIE TRICEPS, or a COLEMAN BACK, or CUTLER legs... Your a dense stupid mother fuker Brianx.

Same thing i said a page earlier.  ;D  Once all the best exercises are found there's no magic formula, just hard work, diet, rest, etc.

does anyone have any shots of Levrone's triceps in the early 90's?

I recall they were striated back then.

Later in his career (late 90's) they seemed to lose their striated look ???

everything about him lost his look in the latter part of his career.

Does anybody know what Levrone used primarily to build up his triceps over the years?  All the pros have their favorites (Coleman and his overhead extensions, etc.)

from FLEX, nov 2005

KEVIN LEVRONE

The one quality that most separated the Maryland Muscle Machine from the challengers who saw him win 20 IFBB pro contests was his fullness. Levrone's biceps didn't peak, but they didn't need to; they remained at the same lofty height from shoulder to elbow, as if he had filled in the valleys beside the mountains. Coupled with his tremendous triceps, he seemed to have cinder blocks for arms.

"It's important that you do full movements for your triceps, because
locking out is when your triceps work their hardest. Flex and squeeze at
the contraction of each rep to hit all three triceps heads."
--Kevin Levrone

KEVIN LEVRONE'S TRICEPS ROUTINE

EXERCISE                             SETS  REPS

Close-grip bench presses             4      6-8
Lying triceps extensions             4      6-8
Cable pushdowns                      4     20-25
One-arm dumbbell triceps extensions  4      6-8

Work on your quoting techniques as I don't understand a thing you type. Levrone had a mediocre chest compared to the greats.

I see a feud starting ;D

You've completely ignored what was mentioned earlier: development's mostly genetic assuming an assortment of good exercises are used.

Size tends to make arms look big.  ::)

E

I joined his gym back in 1997, E, and was a member until he sold it and went to Hollywood.

Kevin helped me train for the NPC Maryland in 2002 and 2004 and I would occassionally train with him.

Defintely one of the coolest cats on the planet. Very laid back and always willing to help anyone who was serious about their training.

The man taught me a lot and I'm happy to call him a friend.

Not much to say really. There was a small group of us that were always training for a competition or helping our gym mates train. We would also train with the Big K from time to time. I mean, why would anyone turn that down? It was a great chance to learn and the guy is a hell of a motivator.
